as for balance in the team.. I would personally bring in Hameed to open and have duckett at 3.. Get root back to 4 where hes done the best..Moeen 5 and Bairstow 6..Stokes is not a number 6.. so he would be better at 7
So I would get rid of Ballance.

1) Cook will remain as captain until he retires
2) Root will stay at 3
3) Stokes is a number 6

I thought to myself Moeen Ali should bowl first as one of the spin bowlers yesterday..I think he would offer more,.. This is why I don't like Cook..Hes a programmed captain. Since \Moeen is now a number 5 batsman. hes now just a batsman and will take his turn before he bowls.

I think Batty will bowl better the right handers.. he bowls more offstump.he doesn't spin it much. so may get a couple caught at shortleg if the ball turns off the pitch
