Bit off topic, I'm moving up to Paisley soon from Essex and with football matches will be looking at either watching Rangers or St Mirren, never liked the other lot.

Just wondering what are ticket prices like?

<never liked the other lot.>

Good to see you're not bringing any baggage Sir.

Usual per Home game is 2 groats or one goat.

" I'm moving up to Paisley soon from Essex"

Bad luck.

St Mirren - £20 for an adult.
Rangers - ~£25 for an adult.

Thats for the cheaper seats though. Bar72, at Ibrox, is more expensive, for example.

A groat is around one 3 hundreths of a King Weans' Legacy.

Correct at time of going to print.

Unfortunately I don't really remember being good. I can remember euro 96 a bit. Well England beating us. And world cup 98. It's round about then I got into football properly. And Scotland haven't been much in my time

£20 to see St Mirren? Do I get a free pint to get over the price?

posted on 8/10/16

It's worth it. You'll be one of about 2000-4000 who can say they seen the buddies that day. Worth it.

It's a tenner if you're unemployed.

Which is most of Paisley

Miller.

Our National team's trajectory has mirrored our Clubs' relative decline.

No shock or horror.

We used to build ships and put teams on pitches.

Defo a witch hunt re Strachan though IMO.

For the life of me canny think of a better available.

Are you saying Paisley isn't a delightful place?

I'm still laughing that they're going for Capital of Culture

It's ironic that the job centre has a call centre based in Paisley

I think we'd struggle to get somebody who'll do much better Mighty Quinn. But at the same time I think he'd maybe prefer to move on and we'd probably prefer that too. Expectations over past 18 years of failure haven't dropped. We're still thinking we should qualify cause we used to.

As ive said before the breakup of Soviet union and yugoslavia did more to hamper Scotland qualifying than anything else.

Murnetti is gonna eat you Hybrid.

A flagship JA'er and a proud Paisleyite.

Can find him at Xscape most evenings.

Maybe you should also know the JA community in Scotland is close knit.

The venom you see between EPL posters is mostly absent up here.

We kinda get on and often unite v the English.

I agreed with you and still do mate.

I also say we're far from being in the worst underachievers group.

Nations with 50 x our population and 100 x our resources are.

Some of them not too far from here.

We're underachieving. Or maybe just feeling the effects of decades of overachieving. Until 2008 Spain had biggest underachievers in the bag. It was no contest.

Things can and will change quickly.

Been Xscape a few times, though normally for Nando's and the cinema, did golf once which I lost at

Didn't realise it would be absent, I guess being a Spurs fan I'm used to getting it from all ends

I do have some Scottish heritage to me, can I hide behind that?

Murnetti's a forgiving man.

Not.

I tell ya, Sam Allardyce....Could you ever find a more motivated manager than that? Would suit our players of limited ability perfectly

...And I believe he is available

They're spending thousands on their little museum and really pushing for it

I think the last time I was there they had some weird parade about weaving and some weird dancing going on, I really didn't get it
