Hengy.................................this is how it started with Soldado, and indeed Lamela when they were not ripping up trees in their first year.

Yesterday Janssen, despite not having clear cut chances himself created a lot of space for others by his hold up play. He is a strong player and his presence actually frees up others to take chances.

It was not his fault that Foster had an inspired game, we need to take our chances more clinically whoever the opportunity falls to.

I know you don't want Janssen to fail, however there are a number of Spurs supporters who seem to relish it when players (in their opinions) fall short. Lamela is a classic case, despite being one of our best and most consistent players over the past 14 moths, Chicken still refuses to recognise him as a talent worthy of a place in the squad, let alone the team

I bet Janssen turns out something like Bale....i.e. once he starts scoring, you won't be able to keep him out!

Genius, not all spurs supporters hate their own club like chicken mate thank god. That plank seem's more happy when Lamela has a stinker, just so he can come on JA606 and pretend he was right guy is the biggest pr*** on here ( and i include mafia boy in that list) .....so let's not compare chickens spurs hating opinions over other posters mate. All of us are praying Janssen comes good and would love nothing more than for him to succeed.

Hi Don,

Hopefully you are right, however we do have a few others beside Chicken who tend to get on players backs when things are not going right.

Everyone has a scapegoat

Greaves, you yourself had a particular one for Townsend for example.

Happened to see a bit of an Ajax match against some no-marks a while back. The standard of defending in that league is utterly catastrophic. I know it's not always brilliant in the Premiership, but the forwards had so much space to play in during that game it was almost embarrassing.
