Look at the outcry this week when around 39 child refugees were freed from the ‘jungle’ in Calais.**

Sorry to correct you statto but there are no refugees at the Calais 'Jungle' as you call it, everyone is their through choice (want only to reside in the U.K) and automatically became economic migrants once they passed through the first safe european country on arrival into europe

I understand there have been many adults trying to pose as children. However when they reach the UK are sent back again.

I guess if I was unfortunate enough to be a refugee, living in abject misery, (a camp that is being destroyed in a couple of days) leaving me destitute, I’d probably be desperate enough to try the same.

err, again, you're just making sweeping statements, they are not sent back at all.

They had one kid on the news, 13-14 not sure from Syria, brother is here so he has every right to enter the country, far enough. But wait a second he won't be living with his brother, but is being put with a foster family.

Why ain't his brother looking after him? The only reason he is here.

You’ll probably find he (like thousands of others) are here as his country has been devastated by war. Which the UK have contributed to.

You do know that several of these safe countries take in as many, if not more, refugees than The UK?

posted on 21/10/16

So why not try a country that is still taking in refugees?

"Fearmongering from the tabloids/UKIP etc also helped to create mass hysteria that the UK was ‘overcrowded.’"
===

It is not fearmongering, England IS overcrowded and that is where the vast majority of the immigrants want to live.
England has 1,100 people per square mile - only Bangladesh, Taiwan, South Korea, Lebanon and Rwanda have more people per square mile.

To put it into perspective Spain has 240 people per square mile, France has 300 people per square mile and even Germany has under 600 people per square mile. So yes, if Europe wants immigrants these countries are going to need to take TENS of millions before England should start taking any.

So stop bullsh|tting about hysteria - the problem is very real...

I'm interested in how you come to the conclusion that those in Calais are economic migrants? Is it your extensive work in immigration? Have you spoken to refugees and asked why they are coming to The UK?

Nothing nasty about calling you a fascist, it's what you are and has been proven.

I realise that, my question was why isn't his brother footing the bill, why is the state looking after him. He is only here because he has family here surely it is their responsibility to look after him not us tax payers.

Like I say you're an idiot, you ask questions you get answers to those questions, you dont like the answers and then you throw your toys out of the pram, there will be no more correspondence between us from now on, you've had enough chances.

What answer?

You spouted your fascist opinion as if it's fact. I've asked where you get the classification they are economic migrants from?

Now who's throwing the toys out the pram? We know, and have proven, which side of the fence you sit on.

ItsAboutTheBackFour

With respect, the populace per square mile ratio argument is absolute nonsense, (and was debunked a long time ago). The vast majority of people are not housed in the countryside. Furthermore humans do not live in lakes, rivers, roads etc etc. People live in towns and cities.

As I noted the ONS, (Office of National Statistics) calculated migration to be around 0.14% of the population. If the UK were to cut migration to the tens of thousands, the universal economic data demonstrates that it would damage, an already slowing, economy.

The above aside if the UK is to forge new trading agreements treaties will incorporate migrants from the bloc/country it wishes to trade with.
