I haven't kept up with US soccer but would they turn down the opportunity to possibly have Englands and maybe Uniteds all time leading goalscorer plying his trade for one of their top teams ?
Irrespective of how bobbins Rooney has been this could be another Beckham moment for US soccer,if of course they're looking for one.

Which premier league club would take him where he would also be willing to go? You can rule out the top teams pretty safely as even if they wanted him, it's unlikely United would sell to a rival. Possibly back to Everton? I think it's more likely that he'll go to America. He'll break that record too, it would be crazy if he didn't get 3 more goals over the course of this season, even from the subs bench.
