Atm it's been usually GSW and then others behind battling out for 2-8.

Lakers are have the best duo and it's not close IMO but other teams have better team chemistry. Plus, Lakers have no wing players. If DMC goes back to 90% of his peak, then it is over.

Man if DMC and AD can get over 20 each. with lebron playing point forward it's over. Could fully expect lebron to go top 5 in assists in the next 2 seasons.

I like PG13 and Kawhi, they are two of the best 2-way players in the league

LBJ doesn't play perimeter defence in regular season - and why should he? Come playoffs, he plays D.

Danny Green's defence peak is over, he is more a 'help' defender than guarding the best player/ perimenter play and can Danny green guard a Kawhii/PG/Klay? Danny can hit shots though.

LBJ is essentially a Point Guard in all but name, brings ball up, make plays etc or 'point forward' as many say but he doesn't guard the PGs on opposing team.

hmmm true. But talking playoffs lebron usually goes head to head with a kawhi/KD etc and always comes out on top.

I think kuzma if he develops though could be that wing. Hes got length and height on his side, needs to develop a better shot though.

Thing is though, playoffs will be perfect as LBJ's tempo and game management is unparalleled and AD can go in the paint, basically they are gonna f*ck you up in the paint. If green goes out to stretch floor with kuzma and cousins, AD pick and roll, lebron on the ball...its over

Yeah, the MVP thing is a bit of a sham.

Even Kawhii's first finals MVP, LBJ averaged 29 on him consistently and Kawhii wasn't the leading scorer, rebounder/ assists etc in that series. His first MVP was just because he guarded LBJ . Also, Kawhii was on a team with three other HOFs and a defensive monster in Tim Duncan.

Kawaii is no doubt the best one-on-one defender in the league and ofc bothers LBJ but his first Finals MVP, much like Iggy's was a joke.

I wonder how the East will shape up. A lot of people have Philadelphia as favourites .No doubt,Philly will be tough to score against but I am not sold. No spacing, outside shooters...and Ben Simmons is a problem.

I don't take much stock with the opening games -especially as Clippers only added two new members to their squad. Ditto, Sixers!

Lakers, have a new starting five bar LBJ and added new members to their bench squad and new coaching staff, identity, chemistry...

Houston, disappointing. Suns and Celtics, surprising. UTAH and Denver also disappointing. West is stacked.

After the LBJ and KD, Curry, harden, Kawhii phase out. Along with Giannis, Doncic is a future MVP.

Actually speaking of Doncic, this a classic and rare case in a trade where both parties won the trade ( Atlanta and Dallas mavericks).

Current thoughts lads? Been a couple weeks.

Definitely worth them tanking then. Knowing their luck there will be generational talent in the draft again.

All depends on the healthiness of steph and klay, draymond is not as good as he was and no iggy.
Plus there were no teams as good as this current lakers, rockets or clippers sides to challenge the warriors in their pomp. Maybe just the cavs and thats because lebron is a freak.

No way gsw would have been as dominant against this lakers roster.

A lot of satisfaction for me, they built a super team, 4 All Stars in their team was too much. It's nice to see them doing chit now. The league looks much more open now, minus AD/LeBron

Oh this makes sense. After Curry got injured it was a bit obvious they would do this though. Don't blame them at all. At least get some picks for the future.
