Well… as much as I like KG, that Celtic team with Pierce, Rondon, and Ray Allen… a little bit overrated no? Always get the feeling they gas themselves too much.

Tbf it adds up, from what I’ve read.

Celtics are nothing like Spurs (both soccerball and basketball). Basically scousers from the states, lots of moaning, fanbase that bangs on about history, acts the victim, Irish links, all from a port city, their greatest player in recent history (Pierce) is a bit of an idiot (Gerrard).

I’m not sure exactly about best defence, it’s between them Heat and the Bucks for sure. In terms of form I’d give it to the celts.

24 turnovers, more than half of them Celtics players just passing it to Heat players did that.

Didn’t see the game but did Tatum not turn up? Butler didn’t either by looks of it

Butler got injured early. Tatum, had a nightmare.
As I was going I thought Smart coming back would pick them up, but both teams defences were really good.

With about 5 mins left, Celtics managed to get the game down to 1 point, but then Miami just managed to stay ahead. Celtics will be gutted to pull comeback but a really bad 30 seconds of fouls and turnovers killed them.
Smart, was guilty for one. But the game in the last few mins, could’ve gone either way.

My point is though that defence rating in the regular season isn’t the true indicator.

Smart had a good performance as a defensive lineman last night though, Patriots are gonna do really well with him next season
