Didn’t Draymond Green complain that the new salary cap will stop anyone creating dynasties?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He says a lot of things lol, I think had Wiseman matured into a decent player then their landscape would look a lot different.
Dynasty's are still possible but you have to literally get everything right. Spurs and Warriors managed dynasty's but were unable to extend it - I think only the Celtics in the 70s did successfully extend a winning team for a long time.

Think you mean 60s mate. Could be argued the bulls too has Jordan not had a break but we will never know.

Yup, I mistyped
Winning Time was grate. Have you seen it?
There is a stupid NBA rule where you only get paid the SuperMax contract if you get voted in an all-NBA team or something along those lines.
It means that someone like Jaylen Brown will only get paid this year if the analysts/writers/reporters vote him in. Which makes the whole voting system very uncomfortable for them

I haven't actually, need to watch a new series so will watch that next
Yeah that’s the thing I don’t like about how the salaries work. Plus it leads to veterans being on big salaries that can’t be picked up for depth and experience, which can be valuable.
But I suppose in general it does a decent job of keeping things competitive. I learnt recently that baseball doesn’t have a minimum salary which means most franchises merely exist to make the owners money. There’s probably a lot of that in basketball as well, but at least it ensures a minimum amount of investment that can lead to any franchise becoming somewhat competitive.
They do have rules in place that helps you keep your best players if they were draft picks.
It's a tough one to manage though, while there are some issues with it - its a million times better than football.

Tough to make a minimum salary when you have G-league players coming in on 10-day contracts as a sort of 'trial'.
As long as the players get paid, and the owners see less of the revenue, I'm happy
Just sounds like baseball is geared more towards making owners money than basketball is. That’s the issue I have with American sport. The culture of it is completely facked, and whilst football is bad there’s at least some level of aspiration for every team in the leagues. Bournemouth could never happen in America because the game is rigged much better.
Yeah certain sports are much worse for it.
Its the american way
The college system as well. It’s basically child exploitation.
I had an argument with someone over here the other day who was saying that the college athletes shouldn't get paid because their payment is a free-ride in college.
I then said, that is the most american way of looking at things, I didn't have to pay anything to go to uni and he immediately got quiet
Jimmy Butler man, he just knows when to activate 100%
That performance against the best defence in the NBA is absurd
The Bucks in real trouble now.
I think they will still take it to 7, probably just about nick it. But they’ll be so beaten up for the next series.
The hawks beating the heat is the worst thing that could have happened to them
Ooft, bold.
If they do it that will be when tbf
Jimmy Buckets playing the MVP and they’ve still got another home court game.
Wow, the favourites gone.
I can't see the Bucks resigning Middleton has really let them down for the second year running
Playoff Buttler is legitamately incredible
well well well bucks...whens the last time that happened, 8th beating 1st? (I know they finished 7th but play in tourny etc)
