That’s not a bad shout tbh. What’s the likelihood of Bronny getting drafted if not for LBJ himself?
Hes ranked 10th in his class I believe.
Apparently a solid 3 & D player
amazing that the BBC has not a world on it's basketball page about Euroleague
Wouldn't really make sense when the EuroLeague is a secondary competition where no British club ever has any involvement.
European basketball isn't at all popular in the UK. How many people even follow the NBA there?
You might see some change if FIBA/the Euroleague actually did something about growing the brand in the UK, but as it is, the BBL just gets one place in each of Europe's second and third tier competitions. Why should the BBC give a donkeys?
They cared a lot more about the English basketball league at the O2 recently.
It’s pretty big these days I’d say, much bigger than when I was a yout
I think the fact that it’s a British league should tell you everything about basketball here.
I have a friend who played for a few of the teams. He is genuinely awesome at basketball and was ranked top 100 in his high school year before going to college (higher than Devin Booker)
Oh wow, that’s cool. Can’t be that many from Britain that make it even to college level in America, are there?
I think there are a few, but this guy is American who wasn't close to getting drafted (I think) and then went to play in Europe.
Tbh I didn't really know how good he was in high-school until I just googled him.
Oh I see. Imagine a lot of Americans do that, given it must be so hard to make it in the NBA.
Man, I was close... last year I said we’d have a repeat of the Celtics v Warriors. With the Celtics taking the torch from Golden State.
I still can’t believe how the lakers got as far as they did.
The play-ins are not fair really...
On a thread where we have Oscar, that may be the most misguided view of someones own prediction I've seen

Ah blow it out yer ass, the Warriors made it to the qtrs and the Celtics to the semis... what?
I wouldn't say I was close if I predicted a Lakers/Knicks final with Lakers to win
I was close when I said Bayern lose to Real Madrid in the CL final this year.

Well no, cos you picked the Knicks, so it’s doomed from the start.
Man can get a little credit, sheesh...
Anyway, whose gonna win the Finals... Nuggets or Heat?
I think it’ll be my early season pick the OKC Thunder
Oscar when the Hornets win the finals.

Mind who you pick your battles with, Stringer. Peks was a normal, law abiding citizen before he tangled with Daz & Edin.
Yeah, Edin and I hacked the youtube algorithm to radicalise peks.
