Sturridge is a brilliant player.

Unfortunately he's a bit flawed physically and mentally, and his right foot is an embarrassment.

He walks into the team of everyone bar the top 6 though.

I am happy to have him in the squad, but long term I don't think Klopp will start him too often when everyone is available.

Sturridge is yet to score this season in the league. Has just the one assist too. Trying to pretend he's been anything other than poor this season is hot-piping nonsense.

And I've watched most. And yes, saying he's been anything more than mediocre so far is nonsense. Your recent Man U game, he was abysmal. No striker with zero goals in the PL about a quarter way through the season has had anything above a poor to average season. Keep trying though.

I thought he was good against Leicester, very in fact, decent cameo against Hull, and underwhelming against Swansea.

No one played well against Utd or Burnley.

I don't think the wide striker role suits him but each time he has played centrally he has done well.

Nah....Sturridge was outright the worst player on the pitch in the Man U game. Static movement, subdued, no energy. At least the likes of Mane, Firminho and Coutinho tried to make things happen. And Lallana changed the game when he came on.

I'll still stick by saying no striker with zero goals about a quarter way through the league campaign has been anything above mediocre. If you believe so, you must hold him to very low standards.

Silva KDB Aguero are easily the best front 3 in the prem, absolutely no debate.

Not really I'm just challenging your original statement of "quite some time". I had known that you meant 348 minutes of football (or 272 if you take out the Leicester game) I would have ignored you for being silly.

Peering through Sturrridge's stats really shows he's been sheite. Forget the goals: Daniel Sturrridge has not won a tackle all season. He hasn't even attempted one. A player like Walcott hardly renowned for his aggression and workrate has won 13 from 15 attempts. Sturridge has 1 interception. Theo has 7. Sturridge has created 3 chances all leage season. Many forwards are thereabouts 20: even "no football brain" Walcott has 10. One of the funniest is Sturrridge's passing accuracy is a full 10 % worse than Walcott and 15% worse in the final 3rd. You clearly struggle with different opinions which is why you're here arguing a guy with zero goals in 7 league games and 4 starts has had a good season contrary to the opinions of many.
