Sturridge is a brilliant player.
Unfortunately he's a bit flawed physically and mentally, and his right foot is an embarrassment.
He walks into the team of everyone bar the top 6 though.
I am happy to have him in the squad, but long term I don't think Klopp will start him too often when everyone is available.

Sure.
We'll if any of the front four are out (and let's face it they're all playing well and scoring in a winning tram) who's the first name to come in?
I'll leave you with that.

Sturridge is yet to score this season in the league. Has just the one assist too. Trying to pretend he's been anything other than poor this season is hot-piping nonsense.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not it isn't because I have watched all our games, every single minute, have you?
Not it isn't because I have watched all our games, every single minute, have you?
-----------------------
And I've watched most. And yes, saying he's been anything more than mediocre so far is nonsense. Your recent Man U game, he was abysmal. No striker with zero goals in the PL about a quarter way through the season has had anything above a poor to average season. Keep trying though.
And I've watched most.
=============
Yeah? I don't believe you.
I thought he was good against Leicester, very in fact, decent cameo against Hull, and underwhelming against Swansea.
No one played well against Utd or Burnley.
I don't think the wide striker role suits him but each time he has played centrally he has done well.
Danny Ings faack me you are deluded
No one played well against Utd or Burnley
---------------------
Nah....Sturridge was outright the worst player on the pitch in the Man U game. Static movement, subdued, no energy. At least the likes of Mane, Firminho and Coutinho tried to make things happen. And Lallana changed the game when he came on.
I'll still stick by saying no striker with zero goals about a quarter way through the league campaign has been anything above mediocre. If you believe so, you must hold him to very low standards.
Silva KDB Aguero are easily the best front 3 in the prem, absolutely no debate.

Not really I'm just challenging your original statement of "quite some time". I had known that you meant 348 minutes of football (or 272 if you take out the Leicester game) I would have ignored you for being silly.
Peering through Sturrridge's stats really shows he's been sheite. Forget the goals: Daniel Sturrridge has not won a tackle all season. He hasn't even attempted one. A player like Walcott hardly renowned for his aggression and workrate has won 13 from 15 attempts. Sturridge has 1 interception. Theo has 7. Sturridge has created 3 chances all leage season. Many forwards are thereabouts 20: even "no football brain" Walcott has 10. One of the funniest is Sturrridge's passing accuracy is a full 10 % worse than Walcott and 15% worse in the final 3rd. Every available indication that he's been a lousy, sloppy mess is here:
http://www.liverpoolfc.com/match/opta-stats/player-comparison
So remind me again why you thought I was a funny clown for pointing out Sturridge has had a below par season,
Because I don't think 272 minutes accounts for "quite some time" because I know the meaning of words.
Not really I'm just challenging your original statement of "quite some time".
------------------------------
Didn't know over 2 months of the season plus the summer Euros where he was mediocre doesn't count as "quite some time". I should have included everything from his breakfast hours to his sleep at night to satisfy your petty pedantry.
But it's 272 minutes of football which is not pedantry but you just being silly and not knowing your stuff. You won't have even watched all those minutes.
And guess what, pal. If Klopp decides to bench a player in sheite form, that should not count as some kind of positive. He's spent a lot of time off the pitch cos he hasn't done enough to merit more time on the pitch.
Please invite me to yours and Jurgens tactics board meeting. I would genuinely like to meet the man.
As soon as one of the front four, who have been performing brilliantly, are out Sturridge is in and that is a fact. You're looking for something that isn't there really.
He's not playing out of his skin and I don't think he likes the wider role but let's not make him out as awful because he isn't and hasn't been.
Keep peddling your 272 minutes waffle. I'll choose to note we're about a quarter way through the season.
Then you're a bit stupid or ignorant. I don't think you're stupid though I just think you googled some stats without context and knowledge.
It's like saying Batshuayi has been awful cos he's got one league goal and has made 0.2 tackles.

It's Coutinho, Firminho, Mane and Lallana: not Messi, Suarez and Neymar. My initial comment you scoffed at didn't call him awful. I said what many of your own fans have said while all you did was denigrate your own board members and dismiss the "10" of them.
No fan has said that Sturridge has been sheite to average for quite some time. Please paste the comment. Any one of the ten would be fine and thanks in advance.
Does he work hard? No. Does that suit the system as well as Firmino and the others? No. Is he the next choice DESPITE being a bit lazy? Yes and every time. Started more than he has been sub anyway so not sure how that fits into your conspiracy theory of being benched.

Again, I've watched most of your games so far. You clearly struggle with different opinions which is why you're here arguing a guy with zero goals in 7 league games and 4 starts has had a good season contrary to the opinions of many. It's one thing to be "stupid or ignorant" like me. Another to combine that with arrogance.
272 minutes if we can accept the was good in the Leicester game. The fact you attempt to embellish empirical data speaks volumes really.
I thought he effected the game well against Hull as well but hey ho.
Didn't say he'd had a good season either. Just making stuff up every post now.

Not sure you know what a conspiracy theory is. I'm not quite sure why you think Sturrridge getting a good run of minutes disproves the notion he's been below par.
