I think we will get rid of Moreno in January. He's a liability and a half.
I don't see anybody mentioning some of the great tackles Moreno made. Sure some may call them rash but he wins them 90% of the time.

Moreno had a decent game last night.
The big chance that Spurs missed to equalise sum him up though.
It doesn't matter how well he is playing,at some point he will let you down defensively by not being where he should be or by being rash in or around the box.
He has shown no progress whatsoever in cutting these lapses out of his game.

* Sturridge - Jekyll and Hyde performance. Awful with the two chances on his right foot but won us the game. Had his swagger back but it was against Spurs reserves. Still don't see how he can get in the first 11.
-----------------
Think it's slightly harsh to call it a Jekyll and Hyde performance just because he had a couple of poor attempts. He once again showed that he is a goal scorer and his movement was back to being very good. He is a better player than Origi and should still be the one to come in when any one of Firmino, Coutinho, Lallana or Mane is out.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yesterday he was sure up for it but in PL with the exception of one game he might as well not bothered. He converted 2 out of 4 guilt edge chances. In a PL game he might only get one so needs to be more clinical.
Sturridge does seem to play well with Origi but that isn't going to happen in the PL for now and for me he struggles when he has to link up the likes of Coutinho, Firm and Lallana.
Not sure about that Kash but either way he works very well with Mane I feel.
Firmino missed a couple of chances at the weekend that I reckon Sturridge would have netted with ease though.

Like you say, he has those lapses and he won't last long if he doesn't cut them out. However I dont see why a season spent on the bench, making him fight to get in, with coaching, he can't improve on this. I've said it many times before but I think he's a very immature player, I look at him like a 20 year old, when I watch him play. I believe he'll turn into a top player but he'll reach that stage later than normal.
I don't.
I think he will be the same when he's 33 and won't grow out of the mistakes.
Reading his quotes in the past, I think he has a very high opinion of himself, and I fear this is why he doesn't improve.
Re: TAA I remember Gerrard starting out at right back too.
For me at best we have..... 14 of a senior squad I think klopp would want.
Say season starting first 11 plus origi, can and klavan.
He's got some youth options for sure... but after that I dunno who would be left in 12 months time.
