No one is attacking you from what I can see, more your attitude to the events. It comes across as points scoring rather than genuine concern.\
I am certainly old enough to remember the bad old days, I was a match going fan then as I am now.
Well there's been a string of West Ham an Chelsea fans on the radio their view of the disturbances were very different.
And plenty dismissing it entirely.
A dangerous thing to do.
They were there, their experience should not be dismissed just because it does not match your perceived views from the media or television. In a crowd of 50+ thousand it is quite possible many saw little or no trouble or were not slose enough to experience it.
Condemning it in my experience is just as bad as dismissing it. One of the first things they did when they cracked down on hooliganism in the 80's was to stop showing it and giving it pages of space. A lack of publicity and notoriety helped, most trouble makers do it to boost their esteem and or egos.
Got to go, got a flight to New York to catch.

"A dangerous thing to do."
You are being a cliché again.
Do you read the Daily Mail?
In the bad old days it started with a few isolated incidents......
We should just forget about it and move be on, that way it will just go away.

You think it's cliche to ignore increasing levels of crowd violence happening with alarming frequency at the Olympic stadium.
You should write for the daily mail if you think that is acceptable.

It's only away fans that incite the home fans to retaliate according to the supporter association guy the BBC interviewed.
His comment made him sound like a school kid.

Yes but I'm still recovering from yesterday and need my energy for when I see my Aunt, she has enough energy to power a nuclear submarine for months. Was hoping to sneak in and get an early night as it's her birthday party tomorrow but no chance. I'll be stuck there until the small hours
JFDI, a nuclear submarine doesn't need powering!
