we r, can you see us beating Arsenal? possibility we might grind out a draw due to our defence being that good but i don't see where our goals are coming from? We desperately need Kane back now and whilst Son provided the goals at the start, he's gone back to being a total passenger. Lamela also having a s** season so far which is annoying me. Infact i can only count on 1 hand a number of players that i would say have been very good this season. Despite us being only 3 points off top, we haven't been that great bar City and Stoke games.
No point rushing Kane back at all.
Rather him not play and get another couple weeks to get ready while international break is on

Looking forward to your annual melt at the Bridge. Mind the gap
Happy Monday everyone
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The only melt is you
How's cesc's hand ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I wonder if hes stopped showing it to everyone yet.
hes probably written a book about it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There is a chapter devoted to it in your DVD box set:
Lesta City, We Came For You (for 13 minutes).
Good article Chronic Spurs have dropped some unlikely points after a great result v City.
However your only 3 points off but probably need 6 of the 9 on offer in the next 3 games

Exactly what I'm thinking.
Was it Walker a few seasons back that only had a small niggle that the club said he would be out max 3 weeks then we didn't see him for the rest of the season? Shambles.

Yes i totally agree. Whilst spurs are stuttering and muttering our way through games especially of recent, all of our rivals are scoring goals left, right and centre + picking up points. Even when rivals were not picking up points, we never took advantage and this was our problems last season to. I said to you before chronic that we don't have the minerals to win this league and i pretty much said this at the start of the season
----------------------------------------------------------------------
On a more serious, non WUM note.
Spurs have done OK this season seeing as:
It was inevitable you would have a hangover from the title run-in and Euro 2016
All clubs have the ability to improve this season with extra sky cash
You are playing CL
Last season was a freak: the big boys are back.
City and United should be miles ahead of Spurs considering resources infrastructure and spend
Chelsea and Liverpool are playing part-time
Arsenal always do the business
I don't think sixth would be a disappointing or unrealistic position for Spurs this season
If someone had said to me that a team has been unbeaten this far into the league, I'd assume they were at the top of the table. I mean it's great that we're so hard to beat but that is all such a waste if we aren't getting the job done at the other end.
The likes of Eriksen and Lamela, they need to step it up this season or we should seriously think about upgrading.

Why? They are top-six club standard players at a top six club.
You are getting ahead of yourself thinking you should have top 4, Champions-League standard players across all positions at your club.
Last season was a one-off for you and Lesta.
Lower your expectations and remember last season was unusual not normality

Yeah because if you're a top 6 club you should never strive to be anything more than that.
Why are Chelsea fans striving for more when they're a mid-table club then?

You should strive to get top 4, of course. But thinking you can challenge for the title is deluded.
Your revenue and resources are behind Arsenal and Chelsea. Miles behind City and United. And you don't have any history of winning DNA at your club.
Levy needs to get the club revenue up to Arsenal and Chelsea's standard in order to compete for top 4 regularly season after season.
Arsenal 435 euro, Chelsea 420m, Liverpool 391m, Spurs 257m.
A new stadium will not bridge that financial gap. Commercial revenue dwarfs that and that is where Spurs are so far behind the 'big 5'.
Whether this is down to Levy not accelerating the commercial side at Spurs, or Spurs not being a big enough club to develop, is debatable
