Chadli yes. Someone who chipped in with goals. Could be played on the wing or as a striker. Same age as Sissoko too. In just one of his seasons he scored as many league goals as Sissoko in his 4 seasons at Newcastle.

If we were going to get rid of Chadli then we should have brought in someone performing at at least a similar level with potential to go higher. Sissoko was never that player. Stupid buy.

I`ve no problem with selling Chadli and Townsend, as neither are good enough for a top 4 club.

The problem is their replacements are performing worse.

Well funny how out of all the whole ja606 spurs members , only you and that pr*** chicken seem to not recognise Lamela being a decent player and important. No one is saying he is perfect and he is certainly erratic at times but if you are saying he didn't have a very good season last year then the only deluded one is you. As for Townsend again only you and chicken seem to rate him says it all really.

Just proves my point youre just a heard of sheep, as long as the majority think Lamela is good you have to agree.

He is completely useless, Townsend can at least put in a decent cross ffs.

He had a good season, but take away his goals against the pub teams in Europa league you're not left with much contribution. Now he's actually got to face good European teams he hasn't got a clue what to do, totally being found out for the bang average footballers he is. No brain, no application, will never get anywhere with him starting week in week out.

And he contributes plenty. Pretty much one of the only guys in the team that can thread a near perfect pin point through ball to our attackers. Has done it ok numerous occasions and has set up a few goals from it. Townsend was a useless bas*** and couldn't cross for s** so not sure where you plucked that up from

No agenda, he just isn't good enough for me. He'll pop up with the odd goal here and there, but other than that, he's just huff and puff, and so so wasteful. Just isn't good enough.

to name names, christian eriksen. i am right on his back at the moment because he is so talented. seems like he signed a new deal and now he aint bothered.

14 games this season, 7 assists and 2 goals, that's what Lamela has done so far.

If he's not up to the standard we need then we need to get rid of the other 10 players who start each week as they haven't done any better.

I have posted that stat on every Lamela article this season as people seem to believe his only contribution is huffing and puffing etc

I think the others who underperform, such as Eriksen, are good enough for Spurs.

You can throw whatever stats at me about Lamela, you will never convince me he is good enough for Spurs. I've never liked him, and I have never thought he was good enough. I've said it before.

BTW its an agenda to think someone isn't good enough for the club, come back with a better argument please.

I'm sorry mate but you have to take some heat when you start saying things like Townsend is infinitely better.

Fair enough if you don't think Lamela is good enough. For a team to be as successful as we want to be, maybe he isn't.

But how Townsend CAN be good enough is ridiculous. Walcott has outscored him every season and he has been criticised a lot by Arsenal fans over the years.
