All his saying, is Ozil is a luxury type of player, not doubting his ability. In a game like this, sometimes players like Ozil in midfield are better left out the side. Lets say we would have had a Kante instead of an Ozil today, or a Yaya Toure, may have made all the difference.

I said our key players Ozil and Sanchez were both poor so what's your issue?

Ozil had a good game despite his miss in the first half.

He obviously bought the hype so expected a player like Messi or Ronaldo. Anyone who understands the game knows you need different types of player and Ozil is still a good player.

This morning I was out with my son and there was a boys game in the park. A few minutes watching showed exactly what is wrong with modern football. All of them where trying to do tricks and be flashy but in the about 15 minutes I saw, I only saw one time where one of them made a good run into space where the player with the ball could pass to them.

They all looked like they want to be the next Messi or Ronaldo but not one understood how to move into space so a ball can be played to them or was able to play a good pass. Ozil can do that.

And to make it worse the coaches were encouraging the fancy footwork and poor positioning. I might do my coaching badge at some point. From what I saw it would be easy to do well coaching in my local league.

at the end of the day, it doesn't matter who I mention, the fact is we (Arsenal) were outmuscled in Midfield and were hoping to hit spurs on the Counter, didn't happen, right?

A fit Ramsey is probably the best alternative. He is naturally a number 10 and gives his best performances there.

Not disputing that Ozil can create something out of nothing. However, it's these type of games where he goes missing and is hardly noticed
