Drogba is easily the best striker the prem has ever seen

I only watch arsenal games, so whenever I saw him he was world class

Btw, i just want to explain Drogba's goalscoring record and why he only score more than 20 PL goals twice. It was because Drogba was never interested in bullying small teams and poor defenders. He got no thrills from facing weak opponents so he left those games to Lampard, Anelka, Kalou etc. Drogba didn't need to score hattricks vs Blackburn rovers or Middlesbrough, it wouldn't prove anything to him. Drogba also knew the team didn't need him to score in these games since the players I mentioned earlier would take care of the small teams. It was only the games where the team struggled when Drogba shone because that was when his team needed him.

So he scored a lot of goals against Chelsea's main rival then?

On his day Didier Drogba was the best striker on the planet. That's what every pundit said about him and that was when Torres Rooney David villa eto'o etc were in their primes

Torres in his prime masterclasses all over Drogba and his diving tendencies. That's not even debatable.

Look at his record against Arsenal and his record in finals. Since he has left we even miss him defensively

Drogba hands down used to terrify the opposition defenses, as most top CB who played against him would testify.

Turned into a top top player but not better than Shearer, Suarez or Henry.

At his best Drogba was 100% better than Shearer and Suarez.

Suarez who by the way I like a lot, but his style of play was to different. Drogba lead the line on his own, also as King of the Bridge mentioned earlier, Drogba had defensive qualities to his game.

nonsense it was cause Jose stopped him developing into a truley great striker like Fowler for example.

Shearer and Suarez used to score 30+ a season.

to be fair so did Suarez, but agree it's apples and oranges in terms of style of play

Drogba scored in more Cup finals, semi finals, big games in general etc. Suarez never had a great game against Chelsea or Man City. Drogba had many great games against Arsenal and Liverpool for example.

Suarez has scored against both of them.
