Fact people will still consider this pitch a dustbowl. They see the scorecard and ashwin pick a 5fer and automatically label it as a rank turner.

Ashwin was getting the ball to drift and was deceiving batsmen off the air. He has clearly out bowled everyone on this pitch, and on a pretty good batting track

Kohlis biggest challenge will be how he performs when the team struggles. Atm, we have not faced a challenging situation. We can already see how smith himself is struggling when the whole team in jeopardy. Even the greatest players like ponting, amla, cook and do many more have found it hard when their team fails.

Basically Kohlis challenge will be when India tour in SA, eng, and aus as this time he will not only have to deal with difficult batting conditions, but also potentially difficult days as a captain.

But so far Kohli the captain has impressed as a batsman. So many Indian players have dropped themselves in the batting order when they have been made the captain.

Stokes & Bairstow showed that it is decent batting wicket but they won't see or avoid altogether.. I already said way before series started that we don't make rank turners anymore. Look at New-Zealand series! Now if they produce pacy, green wicket then it's awesome for cricket

Kohli is smart not to request rank turners against England anyways as it can backfire like last time they toured. Plus we don't play spin that well anymore barring few batsmen.

I was also correct regarding Mishy.. He is not test level player. He may be just fine for Odis or T20 but not for this format. He is a liability in field too like old Gamby.
