What did he say? I can't find it.
Thought it was Werder Bremen who made the tweet - not Gnabry.
Bremen aren't doing that well atm (3rd bottom in Bundesliga), but I don't know if he'd ever come back - he probably wouldn't be short of offers if he did want to leave.
Never really sure why he didn't get a chance. He came in for a few games during the 13-14 season and looked excellent. Then Wenger seemed to drop him the second more senior players returned to fitness - regardless of whether they could actually play as a winger or if they were in any sort of form (players like Rosicky and Wilshere getting played down the right ahead of him, for example).
So gnabry himself didn't say anything then?
He's a talented kid, one I preferred over Chamberlain. But like so many of our other youngsters, he suffered with a long term injury.
Think he is going to turn into one hell of a player.
Could be a massive regret on wengers side
As for injuries, ever player that comes to Arsenal suffers significant injuries
Don't be stupid guys, He scored a Hat trick vs SAN MARINO.
A joke country. He may well turn into a decent player but he wasn't even good enough for West Brom at one point. Why would you keep a player like that on the books.

Was just about to post the same!!!
A hattrick against San Marino and he is a world beater Arsenal need back
Arsenal
The winkeye at Arsenal was because they have to pay us more now he has made his international debut!
Who said he is a world beater?
He would be a good option for us.

He went to WBA after missing over a year with injury. The big error was sending a half fit flair player to a manager like Tony Pulis. He wants hard defensive work first and foremost, Gnabry does not fit.
If you listen to other members of WBAs coaching squad, they were high in praise for the quality of Gnabry - he just didn't fit the Pulis philosophy.
Sadly, as others have said, injury at a key time proved a massive barrier in his Arsenal career. Talent was never in doubt, and we wanted to keep him.
Always think we should have kept Gnabry and or Campbell, and loaned ox to a prem side to play week in week out. Probably would have suited everyone better
We got rid of Gnabry and Campbell and kept Ox and Iwobi. I think I would have been happier if it was the other way around.
So you would have got rid of two players and kept a player with one year left on his contract who turned down new contracts?
Sounds a good plan
This Arsenal 4th place joke has really been done to death

I said the two players we kept against the two we let go. Gnabry turned down a new contract as he wanted more game time. Reports at the time said if he had been guaranteed more game time he was prepared to sign. If Ox had gone instead (as a lot of fans sad they would have preferred) and he could be persuaded to sign then yes to that one. Campbell/Iwobi is probably closer.
So you would be held to ransom by a player who has barely played first team football?
And still lost him for nothing cos he wanted to go back to Germany?!
"persuaded to sign" means he would have agreed to stay.
Could" means there is a good possibility he wouldn't!!
