Not a hope he will go, this Jan and not to either of these clubs.

He only said himself two days ago that he's happy at the club, he wants more game time but will work to get it.

With Mane going to ACOn in Jan he's into the starting 11 and will play a part in most games anyway.

It's a non story IMO, come the summer though, and if a new contract isn't offered then maybe it could become a reality.

With mane off to Africa there is 0 chance this will happen in January as reported.

Expect sturridge through the middle with Bobby out wide.

Can't see it in Jan and West Ham looks like a grave yard for players. Also cannot see either of those clubs matching his wages.

Summer is a possibility though and it's reported we are looking at bringing in another striker so who knows but I'd suspect he would want CL footy.

Doubt he'll go abroad, although I think that would suit him, but Arsenal would be a good fit and I reckon he would tear it up there. Either that or his hamstrings anyway.

Quick questiom how much do you lot think he is worth (an honest answer please)

When I saw the article thsi morning I though it said £8m at 1st and I thought thats cheap, but when I looked again it was £28m and then thought thats way to much.

But with the transfer market so inflated especially for English players its difficult to gauge.

Easy £28m.

We've been pretty fortunate with injuries so far in those attacking positions. When one of them gets a knock, as with Lallana at Swansea, he comes in.

It's a long season, there will be plenty of periods throughout it where one of Mane, Coutinho, Firmino and Lallana are unavailable, i'm confident he will get a lot of games as he seems to be ahead of Origi in the pecking order now.

Pretty sure he will start on Saturday, possibly Origi as well actually. Sturridge scored three times at St Mary's last season, the pair played really well starting together in both the league and cup game.

Short turnaround for Coutinho and Firmino returning from south america so I expect at least one of if not both will start on the bench.

he is worth 58m to us NOW in the summer if he wants to leave 25m.

Theres no chance he'll go anywhere in Jan. I expect by May he will have played a big part in our season (injuries permitting).

He won't leave in the summer either if we get in the CL.

Without CL, then possibly. Still even if we're in the EL I suspect Klopp would want to keep him as there'll be loadsa games

With the amount of money earned by the clubs, with the expenditure, astronomical wages etc., today, or more generally in the immediate future, with his obvious talent there for one and all to see, the SP for Daniel would be in the forty to fifty million pound bracket.

Neither he nor, more importantly for the club, Phillipe are going anywhere before the end of the season at least. I particularly detest the press generated expectation, declaration etc., that Barca or Real want to buy and a player wants to go there.

With the possibility, and at present it is still only a possibility, that we will get top four this season then CL next, Jurgen will need all the players of top quality he can get.

For me, that includes Daniel.

I think its a load of facking crap, do people actually think hed ever go to either of them clubs

I saw this as well. Can't see him going to either of them clubs tbh. He's going to be needed in Jan anyway so can't see Klopp getting rid.

Let's be honest, even in today's market, Sturridge is not going to fetch £40m-£50m.

With his injury record I would see him bringing in around £25m, after that he's a real risk.

With Wenger's obsession for sprint routines...it'll definitely be his hammys.

I can't see us keeping him next season.

One of the best strikers in the league by a country mile but sadly he does not fit our system.

we can't sell him in January because we couldn't replace him with anyone nearly as good and with Mane going to the ACON he will be needed.

If Klopp decides to let him go in the summer then why on earth would he go to facking Stoke or Westham?

posted on 15/11/16

Oh Mane is going to ACON?

Thats good, you haven't won the league then. Lol.

Op...i always thought Studge WOULD leave when Klopp was made manager. Studge IS a world class player but he does not cover the ground like Firmino, Ings or Origi.

Quality player but it is telling that Firmino is playing and not our number 9; and thats because Firmino chases, harasses as well as scores and assists.

Studge just does not or is not willing to do what Klopp wants, and therefore he doesnt play. 100% i expect him to leave, if not in Jan then in the summer. Hes far too good to be a 2nd choice player and hes not good enough to be the high energy player Klopp wants.

Klopp is all about the team not individuals.

No chance in Jan but a transfer generally has been looking likely for a while really.

It won't be simple though. If you look at his history then only a move to a top club looks likely, he will want high wages and high status.

I don't really see those few clubs in England coming in for him though. Maybe he will try his luck abroad.

I can't see him going to West Ham with them having a terrible season and he's never a Stoke player.

He may well just see out his contract with us as a bit part player and move on a lucrative free in 2019.

I could see this happening. It would help with the wages also.
