Dont recall exactly...I think it was at home to Grimsby...& it may have been Clive Walker
1980/1981 Sat 13 Dec Grimsby Town 2 - 0 Chelsea Second Division
Was watching Pompey before that though...from about 75-76 season
No idea what game I saw first...maybe Northampton..& probably David Kemp scored
Lampard.. equaliser against Chelsea. Was on the loo when Schurrle scored
soccer?lol.

Sheriff, that one was away from home mate. I was at that game and remember it clearly because of some wag breaking into the guards office on the train and telling jokes to the whole train over the intercom for a while until the OB nicked him. It was only a few days after John Lennon was shot.

Interesting that the Chelsea boys on this thread have been supporting their side longer than anyone else

Yeah...wrong one selected...it was the home game 1-1
Colin Lee scored
Dec 8th John Lennon was shot...
went past his place (Dakota Building) near Central Park this year
I remember it so well because some of his "jokes" were about John Lennon, which even though his antics were mildly amusing at the time in an anarchiac sort of way, I didn't fully appreciate with because like a lot of other people I was a Lennon admirer.
Interestingly though you must mean the home game the season after though as the home one that year was 3-0, although Walker did score. The trouble is that we all went to so many games back then they just all blend into each other, some games I was definitely at, I just cannot remember fack all about.

Mine was at Old Trafford in 1985. A United player scored against the team he now manages.
Manfrombelmonty
I was just excited to be at an international game for the first time. When we went 1-0 up I thought it was going to be a cakewalk. Was gutted by full time.
