Why don't you give MM some credit as well Spart for the appointment? It seems to be working out. You have always been equally critical of him as well as NP.
Vidal...that will be my memory of Pearson. Was he really that stubborn to see the players he had didnt suit what he wanted? I had no problem what he wanted to do...but do it when you had the tools.
Baz...Its Casino Coins time...Everyones a winner
Very brave of MM to reappoint Schteve. Had it not worked out so quickly I don't think the crowd would be best pleased.
McClaren is in that position he was when he was recruited before and the time he was sacked from the England job. He had to prove something. He is obviously a very talented coach. The difference in Bent, Ince, Johnson and Butterfield is there for all to see.

Spart, I guess that's as close as you come to saying I was wrong?

Who was the red dog saying we hadn't beaten anyone decent yet?
I said I was wrong about Pearson but I seemed to see the light before most fans. Only VC10 and myself commented that he was crap before he imploded.
Butterfield has really improved - he is playing with far more purpose and is looking forward a lot more. Spart was always telling us that the coach makes absolutely no difference at all and that it is the players who make the difference, so it is extremely gratifying to see that he is not afraid to admit what a fool he was and to show us the egg all over his face in such an honest fashion.
In fact, I have never had more respect for Spart than at the present moment.

Vidal...absolutely spot on about Butterfield. It was all we asked of him...to be more positive. After Will Hughes, Butterfield is the next person id want with the ball. I trust him with it. Seeing him going forward with it instead of playing passes back 666 could play.
Can tell Hughes has been ill, although he was far from terrible he was a little off the pace today. Didn't help he was getting hacked to death. Credit where it's due, Baird and Bent were very good again today!

For the exiles - still looking for a Spanish friendly one sorry Cat.
There's a few players out there today tommo that are giving many of us different opinions of em. Pearce,Baird,Johnson,Butterfield, Ince and Bent have all took some stick but im really pleased to be talking positive about em. #mactothefuture
That one worked, cheers 2w
Well I almost got the right result (us by one goal), but was bang-on for BJ as a scorer (I must be nudging Ang at the top surely)?

(blah blah blah) Or was he just pig-headed and making some sort of point ? If so, what and why?

I hate it when people do that
The Evander Holyfield lookalike, Patrice Lamumba. was really hacking Hughes to pieces and the ref never even considered a card for him.
We were fortunate Jerome went off as he has a nasty habit of scoring against us. Even more fortunate they put on Laffertey who makes even Conor Sammon look quality.

Heb, I was reading how Hearts fans now boo poor old Conor.
Really? Time to bring him home then. An option off the bench.
Park bench I presume. Home for him is somewhere in Ireland.
Talking of "off the bench"...is it true 666 is being brought in for the Forest game. Just a rumour...no really hard facts.
Forest appear to be finding some form away from home so we can't risk it. Could be a tight game on the 11th.
