Will never happen and to be honest this article just sounds like sour grapes to me
Did you even read the article? Sorry... Can you even read the article?
And why wont it happen? 99% of people wouldn't have said it would happen in County cricket...
I don't think that is the only solution. But something needs to change because test cricket is becoming far too predictable in favour of the home teams...
1) away teams decide to bat/bowl first
2) test championship- was talked about a couple of years back. Good idea. Will ensure teams don't sit back and play for dull draws

This
So you want it to happen just so that England can start to win some games. Improve the team to get wins not the rules. These tests were not lost on the toss, they were lost on ability
Yeah a test championship needs to happen. Scheduling just doesn't seam to follow any sort of correlation at all!
People don't want to see the same old fixtures being recycled and games that don't mean anything.
I think we can all agree the rankings are a farce.
Great contribution from the Indians as usual
Try and have a balanced view for once and actually consider something outside your own @rse
But the rankings meant something when England were number 1???
Sour Grapes
Shock horror, Lefty takes a balanced view and tries to turn it into a "you said" "he said" slanging match.
Grow up.
It is a balanced view and also why do assume I'm Indian.
The only person talking out their @rse is you, Sound very bitter about a deserved loss
Balanced? You can barely put together a paragraph.
I'd like to keep the toss but instead introduce the option for the losing skipper to make a change to his selection. For example if it's a green top wicket and the temperature is like 16 degrees then they could drop a middle order batsman and bring in another opener.
Bitter?? - more like meltdown
Hope you're ok Serial
Wonder why we never saw these articles when England won?
Lets wait till the end of the series at least. England still have the chance to level this series.
Great contribution Clefty
Cricket doesn't really bother me. Sure it annoys me when we lose but football on the other hand will ruin my day/weekend.
Please do continue to show the world what a pathetic poster you really are. Your fellow Indians will back you though

Like I said. Predictable
I think it's a testament to Clefty's ability to be a moron, that posters like myself and A14 can converse to agree he is a total cretin, especially in light of the fact we have barely seen eye to eye before.
Clefty Ignores the fact I have balanced an article by stating England have approached test cricket in the same sort of manner and tries to turn it into a $hit slinging match instead of offering any sort of viewpoint.
Imbecile
Kash that's a decent suggestion by the way
I'm happy the 2 of you are in here. You can ruin this thread and leave the others alone.
The whole point of home cricket is that you are more used to your conditions and in order to win away you need to be able to overcome this disadvantage. Great teams are able to do so against the best sides. Simply letting the away side choose whether to bat or bowl first is like giving me a 90 metre head start against Usain Bolt. It turns the whole contest into a joke.
The toss is a huge advantage which takes little skill to win ( why it should be a 50/50 thing), whereas being able to adapt to the conditions takes skill.
Stupid article to say the least. You should be congratulating the opposition instead of trying to suggest unfair advantages for touring sides.

You and A14 agree
the 2 posters that have been called WUM,s and generally this is agreed by the cricket boards.

Yet it's happening in County cricket... Yeah really stupid... Another imbecile enters the cricketing boards with a brilliant approach to discussion.

I post what I want Lefty.
I honestly couldn't give a crap if it 'derails' a thread or if you don't like it.
