That was a really quick left hander from Haye, didn't even see it first couple of times I watched it through. Bellew is so getting ktfo in this fight, hope he's getting a fat paycheck for his trouble.

Mr C it was fecking lightning. I only even saw it after my fourth of fifth replay. Bellew won't have any answers to Haye's speed and power. What a mismatch albeit a very entertaining one.

Haha just watching the press conference. Haye just kills Bellew with his lines and goes after Eddie Hearn and David Coldwell

Called out Bellew for winning vacant belts.

Said Coldwell's job at Hayemaker was to hold the t-shirts.

Said Bellew was fat and shiit.

Said he'll KO Belllend just like Audley then KO Joshua.

Big, big Event win there for Haye.

Causal will love the WWE smack talk.

Shame the real big fights never attract the attention.

Seems like a lot of "boxing fans" like the pantomime more than the sport.

Not really interested in this sort of thing, but Hayes rant on Hearn was funny.

Haye savaged everyone though

Boxing is a business just as much as it is a sport. In business, if you want to make substantial income off your product, you have to market it appropriately.

Trash talking is nothing new. For those that are not a fan, don't watch it but it is an integral part of the sport especially if you want to drum up interest. I'm guessing those that don't like the theatrics also didn't enjoy Ali's pre fight barbs and jabs at his opponent or naseems antics.

Ward vs Kovalev done 160k PPV buys. The biggest fight of the year done nearly half of Pacquiao vs Vargas

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Integral part of the sport to get the casuals in, to get the people that are naive and don't really understand boxing to watch.

Casuals love the WWE part of it, not really the boxing. The same people that bought Audley vs Haye, then complained about it afterwards.

Some people never learn

You can enjoy both aspects

Some boxing fans are awful snobs and a problem as to why the sport is dying

I'd be confident I can hold my own in a technical boxing discussion with anyone, I wanted to see Koavalv Ward more than any other fight however I'll enjoy the build up to this too

Agree Kneerash

Personally I've found the build up to this entertaining, not necessarily enough to make me pay to watch it but certainly enough to stream it

You can have intriguing fights without the trash talk though. No defined guidelines to stipulate that a respectful build up means it's a better fight

Good one princess Lesley.

Trash talk is just marketing.

There are more casual fans (much uch more) than than purists.

As a promoter\boxer your aim is to attract as many fans as possible. Regardless of the WWE stuff, the purists will watch the fight.....the casuals wont. They buy into the whole marketing peace

The casual goes to the odd fight night, spends money at the venue on top of the tickets and at least contributes financially by paying to view even if the match up is a dud.
The so called experts on here spend fook all and stream every event they can while painting themselves as some expert supporter. It's not chess ffs its fighting with fists.
