Fans made them look like plastics. Even there usual song around 90 min mark fell apart after a few seconds as Leeds out sung them
I hate things like this
Fans don't mean you should get promoted
And let's not forget how bad the atmosphere is at Ellend road is these days and half empty

Of course you outsung us, it was aa big night out for you. For us, it was a chance to watch a reserve side against a mid table championship side. Hard to get up for that.
........
Typical plastic comment You should be getting up for every game not just your cup final against Manchester.

Fair point I guess - but then the sight of your own manager trying to gee up your own fans for some support at the weekend is hardly a glowing endorsement of the passion inside your ground at the moment is it ?!?!?!?
....good point, well made vof....

I went to watch Leeds in the middle 90s get hammered by Liverpool 5 nil in the Prem
Atmosphere was shocking
Biggest myth in football is anfield
Anfield is the single biggest myth in world football....it's always been ****
Our fans were unreal last night, it was a great night
I agree with the article. 5 stars from me!

Your fans were very good but the atmosphere at Anfield has been flat for years and the away fans are often louder than the home fans. It's nothing new and happens up and down the country where you get the dedicated away fans who stand all game and know the chants vs. tourists and the prawn sandwich brigade. Keane rightly said it about OT but every club has the same problem.
The issue is that a season ticket costs the most part of a month's wages and it's forcing young working class people out of going to the game. I've got a mate from Southampton and his parents are ST holders at St. Mary's but they're in their 50s and take a fecking Thermos to every game because of the cold. They're hardly going to generate an atmosphere with a large section of the fans being of that ilk.
they only sing when they're winning, sing when they're wiiiiining, they only sing when they're winning
Problem with anfield is
It's full of cockneys, j aps and Chinese
It's killed it
Think the premier league has killed football full stop, lot of the old school fans are either sick of the money in the game and the cost of watching or are dropping off the perch and the kids now going to the game will get home and put there Barcelona or Madrid shirt on and go for a kick around, no passion and loyalty anymore.
disagree massivley Don - I love the Premiership...
One thing that last night achieved - it showed a wider audience what the PL is missing. LUFC MOT!!

Carlisle made loads of noise when they came. Does the prem need them?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
they dont have a top division title more recently than you though.
Any Prem fan who says they wouldn't be more excited seeing Leeds was their next fixture over West Brom or Hull is lying.
But all that matters is on the pitch and we have to get there.

He did that almost every week at Dortmund, a set if fans that are one of the most passionate and vocal in Europe, so if that's your barometer, maybe think again.
------------------------------------------------------
If Dortmund fans are some of the most passionate and vocal in Europe, then like with you lot, why would he need to be so - well nuts - about generating some atmosphere to support the team he's managing?
If that's the logic you're applying, then perhaps you might want to think again too ...............
Could it be you've inherited a few fans from OT who sniff a club in the top 4, buy a shirt so "belong" and who can still find a prawn buttie on match days?
