Following the sendings off in the last game we needed to make two subs to get to a 4-4-2 that looked balanced and posed a threat. We probably spent 20 mins of the match with either the wrong formation for the situation or players out of position

With Pereira in the starting 11 we can adapt quicker to game situations

I agree that Pereira could be our trump card on Sunday, but I would warn him that if he gets a yellow card he will be subbed before he gets a second one. I don't want to see Cash playing as a wing back either. PM has quite a few things to consider before finalising his team.

Mancienne played well against Newcastle and I would like to see him start. If Joe is still unfit then he will, otherwise who does PM leave out, if anyone?

Wing backs? Is Traore fit? If not I'd start with Pereira on the right and Lichaj on the left.

Midfield has not been brilliant if I'm honest except perhaps against Ipswich. Cash must be close to starting and I think CM could be Osborn's best position. Kasami is the one most at risk I think.

Striker(s). Britt has to start doesn't he. Will we be brave and play two out-and-out strikers? If we do Vellios will probably start and Bendtner coming on after 70 mins. But I think PM will stick with playing Osborn slightly behind and to the left of Britt. (How close is Brereton to being in the squad? Probably not this week after playing for two hours on Tuesday but he must be close).

Goals galore. The Reds to win 2-4

Lansbury and Lam deserve their place but I would drop Kasami in a heart beat.

Either Vaughan or Cash would be fine

Do you mean red card?

If we were Newcastle at least one of his red cards would have been over turned

Kasami doesn't do enough to justify his place. Vaughan in particular must be mystified by his inclusion ahead of him so far this season.

There'll be that doubt surrounding his temperament for a while now until he can prove he has learnt from his numerous petty bookings. Needs to play smarter. I have a feeling Monty will stick him in for Cash on Sunday, though.

Worrall should be fit for this match. He wasn't included v the Boredies as a precaution after being walloped in the face by a Vellios rocket in training.

Has cheater Lansbury been banned yet for his performance v Newcastle?

Fingers crossed this will be the last Derby with Fawaz in charge.

His record against the sheep stands at

3 wins
3 defeats
2 draws

So Sunday is something of a decider for him.......
