Wtf does this even mean? It's football, not religion or something.

It's a club that's doing their best and doing something people wouldn't have ever seen happening in Germany, coming from nowhere to challenge Bayern Munich. I think it's great.
Alright Wahl how's it going?
It's football, not religion or something.

Exactly, it is football, not religion or some other crap.
The same reason people dislike England's sugar daddy clubs.

Hey bro wonder, I'm alright, you?
Macaroni dude, Football ain't that important, shouldn't be taken seriously, it's all just fun.
Broiney, but like people are refusing to attend Leipzig games, it's unreal how pizzed off they are about a club wanting something better for themselves.
How's it any different from MK Dons when Michael Kors bought Wimbledon and moved them Albuquerque?
I've never seen jealousy like this before. They need to get a grip and accept it.
I'd stop following football if each club was owned and named after a soft drink.
Why, who cares what their name is?

You'd go to Fanta Chelsea games?
although IMHO people should hate Bayern more for nicking any potential rivals best players.

Yeah, this is way worse than Leipzig.

In answer to your question. Football clubs were originally set up to serve the community they surround. Although we have moved a long long way away from that philosophy. The stature of football clubs within the game is acquired over a period of time. For me it leaves a bad taste a corporation coming in and flooding a club with money to enhance their success and history. It's a quick route to success and could be seen as being unearned. I think it's the Red Bull side of it that people don't like the most. Will the modern game just end up being a bunch of corporation bank rolled teams who have nothing in common with the fans?
Nothing in common with the fans? What more does any club have in common with the fans?
Walh bro would you be happy with Kitkat Coventry winning the league with Cilit Bang Chesterfield, Tinder Tamworth and Angry Birds Accrington Stanley making up the top 4 and Man Utd get relegated cos they don't have as much money as those corperations?
