@ ddd, sorry mate but that was our problem last season and many seasons before where we fail to turn up against weaker opposition. Wolves have made a good start but i don't care what anyone says but we should be beating them. You don't see United, Chelsea or even Arsenal going to Wolves hoping for a draw. They go there confident of a win and if they fail to do that it's considered a bad result. We need to get 3 points sat and i will be extremely annoyed if we only get a draw

United, Chelsea and Arsenal in all fairness probably have better players though

Tottenham fans need to be more realistic. A point at Wolves is currently a decent result.

Don - Have you got a season ticket for that suicide bus? Its only the third game and Wolves is not an easy place to go even for better teams than us. Don't wind yourself up .

I see what you're saying Don although the post isn't aimed at me I would like to say something. If we beat Wolves and then lose to Liverpool it reads LLWL and it will be difficult to predict the next games. But if we draw at Wolves and then beat Liverpool and from then on work into good form slowly then it's easier to predict and the good form lasts. LLDW is a better platform to start from. I hope that makes sense.

I'm not wound up mate, just telling you how it is. I been a lot more positive actually .... If we want to be battling for the top 4 mate then being "happy" with a draw against Wolves is not exactly top team talk mate. I'm not saying i expect us to win 4-0 and no doubt Wolves will be tough but 3 points is needed badly especially considering our awful start

Hi Tohbi Nashobi, Yeh i get what your saying but Liverpool will be a tough game so we need to get those 3 points against Wolves first. A draw is not going to do us anything this saturday and will only keep our place at the bottom of the table Warm .....We should be bloody be beating Wolves i'm sorry

posted on 8/9/11

Wolves may well be saying they should be beating Tottenham on current form.

posted on 8/9/11

We should be beating Wolves yes but as Warm says on current form etc Don a draw is good. If Liverpool lose to Stoke they won't be such a tough proposition because I fully expect them to go on a run of poor form after their next defeat. It's all happened too quickly for them and they can be shaky after a defeat as last season proved.

Tohbi, don't listen to what 'warm' has to say mate. He's a wind up merchant Muppet so do remember that
I agree Liverpool are certainly not as good as they are making out right now but will still be a tough game so we need those 3 points against Wolves. I fully expect it and hopefully Adebayor will hit the ground running

Why should you be beating Wolves?

They are a good side that usually beat the top teams at home and will IMO be a top 10/12 team.

Spurs should have lost to them at Molineux last year and did the year before, IMO only the top 4/5 teams have earnt the right to be say they "should be" beating teams like Wolves

3-3 wasn't it last year,Defoe.

I pressed too early. Why should we have lost it?

Wolves had a goal disallowed that probably should have stood for a soft "foul" on Gomes.

It was a cracking match though

Hutton should have been off and Wolves had a perfectly legitimate goal chalked off. I have no doubt Wolves would have won had Halsey had a better game as ref, and I was sat watching as a neutral with my two housemates (one is a Wolves fan and the other a Spurs fan) and both agreed that Wolves had been the better team and should have one.
