Anyone watch United last night? Pogba was majestic in midfield I must say. Wonder if anyone will draft him in again gambling on next season's form...

Celta Vigo aren't really the best opposition and I think it underlines a poor campaign in the Europa League this season.

Ajax/Lyon (likely Ajax now) aren't really the strongest sides either to face in the final.

I expected them to be better than they were. The boards on here particularly were very pessimistic and said they'd be a hard team to beat. United didn't get out of second gear all night.

Not that I watch a lot of La Liga or Celta for that matter, but this season they seem to be a bit like a West Brom/Southampton sort of side. One that most top opposition should beat away because of the difference in quality, but you never want to go and play there.

I'd choose Fellaini over Pogba right now. I know he wouldn't get the league ratings but if I had to play a big game tomorrow and had to pick one in midfield I'd go for the big man.

He can't do anything well. His specialty is winning a header, but he can't do that without giving a foul away. His temperament is awful, his passing worse, and he offers nothing going forward.

Fellaini is United's most limited midfielder. Pogba can at least pick a pass because he does have the quality. Fellaini is just a midfield bully who would do well in a West Brom sort of side.

He'd limit their midfield. I think it's time we just accepted he is not a midfielder, but should only be used as a bullying striker as he was at Everton.

I think that's mental trebs, can you imagine Fellaini trying to fit in the Real side?

I bet he could have done. Maybe not this seaon, but with Modric hitting his early 30's, he may well have done. He might have even started this year.

Think Pogba is nowhere near as good as he was made out to be before this season, but he is nowhere near as bad as he is made out to be now.

His assists statistics would be through the roof if United could finish. We should have been at least 3-0 up yesterday before half-time, and I think 2 of those would have been Pogba assists.

i could see him at real, hes not good enough to carry a team and be the main man like he is at united, but i reckon hed fit in better as a part of top team where the pressure isnt on him

he genuinely looked great at Juve...and as Tranq says he wasn't the one man carrying the team
