i know people love it, but most of the players who love it were rubbish at fifa 17

surely that tells you something - the game has too many systems going on that help players.

the more fifas that come out the less control you have over the game

really hope PES up their game soon because fifa is becoming absolutely cack

Same. Bought both. Already done a whole season on 2k. Probably only played 10 games on fifa. And I got it on the opening Tuesday

FYI

I absolutely detest the defensive system on the new Fifa even more than I hated the previous. Hated defending on Fifa since they brought in tactical defending.

I accept that it was probably too easy pre Fifa 12 but it’s gone the other way. It has been too difficult for years. You simply cannot control 4 or more players to defend at once.

I'm halfway through my season on 2k. What team you signed with? You get Rookie of the year?

Kami defending on 17 was easy.

Defending on 18 is just stupid, the tackle button causes the player to lunge about a metre and completely takes him out the game for a few seconds and slide tackles.... well, they are awful.

Also have noticed if the opposition passes the ball and your player is clearly within intercepting range, your player just ignores the ball. It happens so often, the game feels horrendously broken

Through balls are very weird on this, if you play a through it leads to a very odd collision between the striker and CB for example

More often the CB wins it.

Defending is very difficult, I'm getting better at it by crowding out folk at the edge of my box but then that leaves me vulnerable to a shot from the edge of the area

I’ve been crap at defending since Fifa 12 as tactical defending is a load of sheite

Metroid may not have quite as rocky of a sales history as Fire Emblem, but the lesson here is quite obvious: Samus Returns and Prime 4 will be make or break for Metroid. It's absolutely critical that they sell big, otherwise there's a decent chance Prime 4 could be the last Metroid game ever made.

Considering the amount of dreadful English teams that have been in the Europa league, it's a pretty hard record to break
