Oh and don't get me started on Grenfell, what a mess.
Doubtful, the British public have an attention span of about 5 days.
The biggest issues are Brexit and immigration. Corbyn is obviously in favour of immigration, whilst the Tories support reducing immigration (which they rarely do, but hey ho).
Conservatives are also trusted to deliever Brexit more than Labour who today admitted they want to stay in the European Customs Union, which is basically staying in the EU anyway.
Until Labour get a new leader who can rebrand the party for the working-class people and not immigrants and benefit claimants, then they won't have anything apart from a few local election victories.
I don't have anything against people on benefits btw, its just the British public in general are hostile to people who are on benefits long-term and a party which is seen to support this lifestyle, i.e Labour will always lose votes.
Or immigrants. I just don't like mass immigration and believe its done the UK huge damage in the last 15 years.

My problem with benefits is that some people would rather reject a well paid job to stay on benefits.
This might be because they don’t want that type of job but imo taking that job doesn’t stop you looking for more suitable jobs to you.
I’ve heard a lot of these people say that until a job provides them with at least 500 quid after all bills are paid like their benefits does, they’ll stick with benefits.
Now I myself would like the same thing but unless you are a highly qualified highly experienced person with potentials of a brilliant occupation, not many get that type of disposable income
I would significantly reduce this type of benefits to a level much lower than wages. Benefits should get you by with bills, wages should give you the disposable income
Other benefits like disibility benefits are most definitely needed but should be means tested.
Child benefits should be limited to 2 children as a child is a choice and if you decide to have children it should mean you know it you can afford a child
Now write another essay type response about tax dodging by big name companies which costs the UK far more than social welfare does yet doesn't get half the stigma.

And here’s another thing that annoys me. The fact that you think I don’t support this.
It isn’t one or the other. Picking on one issue doesn’t make the other issue defunct
Why can’t we try and solve both? It’s not mutually exclusive
It’s like an American I know who supports guns was complaining on fb recently about calls for gun control. He said it’s mental health that’s the problem not gun control.
Well I’d argue that both issues need to be looked at
Because its easy to go for the common man than it is the big companies, which has been a constant theme in the Conservative party since 1945.
