Can't argue with those stats and we all know Indians are stats obsessed.
Zero 5 for in England, NZ, Oz or SA.
Yasir clearly has problems himself outside Asia but in this tour bowling against 7 left handed batsman he was going to be ineffective.
So now it's all about 5-fors is it Kash? When it Tendulkar scoring centuries, it was all about situation and average, not number of centuries.
If that's the way you want to play..the oh-so-great Younis and Misbah COMBINED have 6 centuries in SA/ZA/Eng/Aus. Kohli ALONE has 7.
Also, Yasir is bowling to 6 lefties, not 7. The same nonsense argument can be extended to Ashwin. He was bowling to 6 right handed batsmen.
Also, Yasir Shah-ite 124 run in 14 overs
Yasir Shah won Pakistan two games in England. That's worth a lot more than anything Chuckwin has done away
He has had a mare in Oz. The back injury is doing him no favours but the Aussie batsman have played him really well forcing Mishah to display defensive fields making it easy to milk a leggy for runs.
I see you gone all quiet over Younus Khan
I will be producing a separate article on Khan after we most likely lose tonight / tomorrow
To be fair not many over seas spinners do well in Australia.. Cant think of any to be honest??? even Murali struggled.
Think you are being very harsh on Ashwin, test cricket is all about pressure and away from home India don't have the fast bowlers to create any sort of pressure on the batters so they can just play him with ease.
In India the seemers do ok but everyone know as soon as the spinners come on chit hits the fan. In England/SA/Aus the Indian fast bowlers are lets face it pretty useless. They can easily go for 3-4-5 runs and over so when Ashwin comes on they can milk him as they know the pitches arent going to spin much.
Also as a test captain dhoni was pretty shocking and didnt really trust him outside asia. Lets see how he does under Kohli who i feel will have the confidence in him.

We used to have a lad called Ben in college, anytime the teacher said his name, someone would shout Chod....was funny at the time
For the love of god cant the PCB and BCCI just organise a fricking test match between Pakistan and Indian in the UAE and we can have this pedantic bantering over with.
Or a bowl out between Ashwin and Shah-ite

Amir - 5 wickets across the three matches at an average of 51
Ashwins record in England is pretty good. I think he has only played 2 matches there. And last time in aus he did pretty well despite India not playing him in Adelaide where the pitch was the most spin friendly conditions out of all the matches they played there.
Yasir in England only picked wickets when the pitch had something in for the spinners. In the other matches he went for over 200runs.
Ashwin is also an all round cricketer. He performs in all the 3 forms of the game. People talk about WI. The last series they played in UAE I thought bishoo bowled better than yasir shah. In WI ashwin won us all the 2 games by himself.
Hes taken 3 wickets in England.. so yes its a great record..
NO Anderson away from England is rather good actually..
Anderson, against India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the sub continent??
Hes done well as any seam bowler on the flat wickets.. he doesn't chuck..if he did he would get more wickets..
Who in your opinion chucks? Anderson has been ineffective on the last India tour and the last ashes tour in Australia. He will find it harder to do well in the next ashes as well. When ball stops swinging he is pretty ineffective as he lacks the pace to trouble batsman.
Anderson was very good in the UAE
When the ball is swinging anderson is great but when it's not doing much its shows that hes not world class. Still a top bowler but not with the best of the best.
Steyn, Donald, Akram, Younis, Mcgrath, Walsh, Ambrose, Pollock are WC and Jimmy in the level below them.
(im sure ive missed a few other fast bowlers out)
He's got 179 wickets away from home and 288 at home.
40% of his overall wickets away hardly constitutes to being a one sided cricketer, does it?
Oh I see what you are doing there serial. When people talk ashwin they explicitly take ashwins record away from places like SL and WI and anywhere else in SC. but as soon as we talk about any other bowler it's home and away record.
They were the only figures I could find. I don't know if there's a site that displays by non sub continent or not. I assume the stats on Ashwin are a lot easier to figure out compared to Jimmy Anderson considering Jimmy Anderson has been on the international scene more than 10 years and has close to 500 wickets!
Feel free to go through all his scorecards though if it makes you feel better 👍🏽
