I was reading of the bad blood between him and kronke (spelling?). It's conceivable that he could keep hold of his shares to stop kronke getting them. Plus he could do deals with Moshiri that enables him to invest with out breaking rules.
Ox, would you want kronke to own 97% of shares?
Maybe with the fat man, the club would be more ambitious, give Wenger the kick up the bum or even out the club!
This sort of deal could mean Everton are our feeder club. Expect Lukaku to be joining
Can someone hold shares in two PL clubs? I'm not sure it's legal.
I doubt he will sell his arsenal shares though

I highly doubt that, and I suspect you don't really believe it either.
Even before Kronke too over I wanted Usmanov as Silent Stan has a history of making his sports clubs as profitable as possible rather than winning things, or so I read. Usmanov wanted to invest to make us competitive and has bad blood with Abramovich so wanted to beat Chelsea.
The way he has been treated by Arsenal is appalling and they even got the rules changed so they didnt have to release all business information to him even though he s a major shareholder.
If he does buy into Everton I'm sure he will invest heavily as a multi billionaire, but he has said for years he is a true Arsenal supporter.

As much as I would love him and his Billions at Everton. I am pretty sure I read recently that he wouldn't sell his shares in Arsenal, as he sees them as a long term investment plus he is an arsenal fan.
It's an interesting development
We have totally screwed Usmanov. All them clowns wanted Kronke for some daft reason with his proven record of.messing up sports teams.

From the outside, it appears Kronke want to make profit and doesn't care as much about silverware. It appears usmanov want to make profit from Arsenal being more successful. Just the way I interpret it.
Meh....why would Lady Bracewell share her shares to The American if Usmanov is the right person?

I'm sure she said she regrets it now.
Where? She might be regretting for selling at knockdown price.

Yeah, that makes sense as I have the authority to sell West Ham.

No the way he's treating the club, she said she wasn't expecting him to do what he's doing.
The club got into bed with Stan for the same reason we never bought expensive players for years. Because at the time being profitable was more important than silverware.
The club HAD to be as low-risk as possible for as long as possible money/debt-wise. At the time, Stan represented an almost guaranteed, strong-powerhouse (financially) 25 years into the future. Usmanov would have been more of a risk in those terms.
His trophy priority and Roman rivalry would no doubt have seen him personally underwrite the club right up until the day FFP kicked in. Which could potentially cause problems that would not be encountered under Stan.
We may well be paying a price for that now but it was the most sensible and IMO correct choice, at the time. I mean lets be honest, at least the last five years, Stan hasn't exactly sat on his wallet. We all know we can effectively afford any player we want to go pay for. And looking at the squad we have and chances this season. We've really not paid too much of a price at all for Stan being the man. HE is probably the last person to blame for no league title. Because the blame on that is squarely at the feet of the players and manager. They could have done it by now if not for some truly spine/desire-less performances.
She made that comment after handing over the keys to the American? That shows her naivety if it's true.
