thats that, i'm off to bed
Pretty lucky to win tbh, very poor. Lucas was good, that's about it.
You continually try baiting posters and then cry when people bite.

Origi needs to go now another loan. He's been rubbish

perfect..clean sheet, 1st team rested, couts had minutes, 4th round at home, semi final of the other cup....awesome
Lucas: "Has it been that long? I scored last week in training you know"
Woodburn is facking woeful is a comment worthy of derision.
I'm far more irritated by some of the non performances by the s3nior players. Sturridge especially and Origi whon was bilge.
Anyway we are through and have rested key players.
Metro don't use facts on here there not welcome
For example if a player plays awful against a team 60 odd places below us over 2 games you aren't allowed to say they did if their under 20
Term will call you a name
He won't tell you why you're wrong because you are right but it's not accepted on here
By the LAMCAM can STFU.
Wasn't blasting Origi when the lad was scoring.
Woodburns was poor but the kid barely has any logic
hairs to be fair to him.
This was Plymouths cup final.
Was wondering what a logic hair was
Oh and by the way, Iago Aspas just scored at the Bernebeu.

Yeah but has he taken corners yet
Paisley you make a valid point perhaps Sturridge and other senior players should be more of a concern but I was worried when young Ben scored I'd seen him play a good few times and don't think he's anywhere near good enough for us and I probably went a bit hard on him just to vent my frustration that he's not playing well
I don't think we can judge the young players on one or two games. Stewart and Ejaria have had better games and will get better. I'm annoyed with Origi not just this game but in most games this season. Poor control and shooting and mainly his movement.
Ojo was good. Woodburn is 17 and is going to be a star.

Maybe you should just phone your brother during the game. That way we wouldn't have to suffer your non stop dripping throughout the game.
Continually stating that 'x' is shiite over and over isn't really inviting positive debate, is it?
By worried I meant the old "lad he's gunna be boss him" when in fact anyone on here could of scored the goal he did but people get far too excited

My thoughts:
Not a great team performance but to be expected really with that sort of mixed team out.
Trent AA was outstanding I felt. Gomez was good in the main, Lucas was good, no dramas from Moreno. Karius flapped a little but was positive.
We defended well overall and they didn't have much other than the chance that hit the post.
On to midfield, Stewart holds well and tracks well but his passing is poor and it's a problem. He gives us good balance defensively but you lose that progression.
Ejaria is too safe. Doesn't do anything wrong but needs to show a bit more confidence with his passing and running.
Good hour from Coutinho.
Woodburn was lost wide in the first half, but I thought he was good in the 2nd half, composed, tried to make things happen and took risks.
Origi wide doesn't really work, he's too lose with the ball and is better with his back to goal in the middle where he can roll defenders. We looked more dangerous with him there.
Wilson was good when he came on, some nice touches and looked to create.
Ojo was excellent, direct and committing defenders. He's way better on the left than the right.
Sturridge was Sturridge. Some good movement that went unrewarded, some greedy play and a bit of sulking. He's not doing enough to say he should be starting regularly and continues to look likely to be sold sooner or later (won't happen this month).
Next round I would like to see us start Wilson right and Ojo left who are natural wide forwards on their best sides. With Origi down the middle and Lallana or Coutinho behind. Leave Woodburn on the bench.
Woodburn and Wilson their first is very good which gives them much time on the ball. They will make mistakes but they are yound and will learn,.
