I am gonna give the boys some slack today. on the whole they have been good this season today was the first time they were really poor. hiw we are only 1 down I will never know. I am confident of turning it around but they seem to have nullified our attack twice now.
A lot hinges on Sunday. Desperately need a result. A draw would be very good for us IMO.
You really are the ultimate spin doctor
Without our best players we are a poorer team.
Injuries are no excuse because every squad has to deal with them, but take Mané, Coutinho, Henderson and Matip out of the starting eleven then we aren't the same team.
We need a bit of luck and cross our fingers that our key players will stay fit and that Cameroon has a woeful AFCON.
"There is also the Utd match to consider, its not an excuse but i bet there was a little bit of looking forward to the Utd match."
I'm glad somebody is because on the evidence of the last 3 matches I'm not looking forward to the Utd match at all!
Beat Utd it will be 100% we are world beaters, Lose to Utd we are sht and this player that player is woeful, draw vs Utd and its acceptable because they dont gain on us.
In short, EVERY team has a poor run, we have very good players and a very good squad; long season, stick with it

I get the point you're making, but that first sentence is vintage Michael Owen

Don't you mean Morocco?
Very poor performance, that's patently obvious, made to look even poorer by a Saints side who deserved more.
Our team were shiiite, headless chickens etc., apart from Karius none of them came out with any credit. I wouldn't criticise the forward line, they were just not given the ball. Poorest player on the park, no question, Can.
In a way, if Jurgen can use the game in the next three days as a wake-up call, then all will be well. I'd far rather losing at Southampton than getting beat at OT.

You just beat us at home so this can't be your poor run.
Wait until you drop needless points against mid table teams consistently for like 4 weeks while your rivals pulls away. Then you can say you're having a poor run.
Champions Elect will soon be below Spurs. Watch this space.
thus far we have gotten lucky
a) draw to sunderland became losing th e gap to the top
b) draw to plymouth was kids. nobody really lost anything from this. we see the 4th round draw and know what needs to be done
c) lose narrowly in first leg... but they should have been out of sight.. so at least we still have a chance of some sort.
If we can get first 11 back out on the pitch minus of course mane then we can at least give it a go before the wheels really come off.
Didn't watch the match. Couldn't care less if we get knocked out though. Not a trophy I care about. We just need to bring our A-game this weekend.
