One fan complaining about the atmosphere and lack of singing
when I asked if he tried to get a chant going to help this he told me he didn't have the right voice for it..

I've seen lads in Anfield try to start a chant only to be basically told to shut up by grump old lads in the main stand!

The way the clubs sell tickets also don't help, you can't get a group of you together in one spot, so it comes down to the season ticket holders, mainly on the Kop, who attend together every week to get the songs going.

Unfortunatley the 2 tickets are already assigned!

We did it well this year, luckily my mate had 2 fan cards him and his brother who rarely goes as i never renewed mine this season.

We got 2 tickets for all home games this year and sold them on (face value) or gave them to mates etc.

So my brother and his pal are going to the home game next week on our tickets and now we've built the League Cup credits up to be in the first round for final tickets should we get there.

that will be me,the songs these fans sing know a days are repetitive in 70s /80 we had about 40 songs

I think the main reason I sometimes get annoyed over al lthis is when a fan criticises the atmosphere at a game, they are sitting at home watching on Sky and give about the fans in the ground, "it's so quiet" etc. If you care that much go to the game and sing your heart out.

Raptor I'm sure there are plenty of fans who support Spurs who have never been to a game too.

There's more Liverpool fans of this ilk as the club has a larger fanbase especially outside the UK.

I made one remark on there. Didnt mean any harm by it. Just a little joke. Once i found out he was upset and offended by it i immediately apologised.
For the record, the whatsapp group contains some members of JA that have all met up on more than one occasion. And there is always banter on there.
I would never mention anybody's personal lives on here

What made me laugh last night on BT they were applauding the Liverpool fans for travelling 500 miles to Plymouth (the same as Plymouth fans to Liverpool last week).

I mean come on, what a facking joke, as if the majority of those fans come from Liverpool last night

Most of them would have lived round the corner!

Btw this is not a dig at Liverpool, more at BT
