Every club will have their legends but if this article is referring to true football greats, then it has to be limited to those who have achieved huge success at both club and international level...
The likes of Fabregas and Carrick do not come into this discussion...
Drogba on the other hand is a definite yes, while Alexis may just get there is he has a stellar end to his career... Will probably have to leave Arsenal though...
Suarez doesn't make it for me... neymar is already a legend, even if he retired today.
How does Suarez not make it?
Destroyed the prem, went to Spain and destroyed that and won all the trophies and guided Uruguay, bleedin Uruguay to the world cup semi finals.

Oh and won the copa america
Christ i love Drogba but man he isn't close to Suarez.
Sanchez isn't close to Suarez either.
Alonso might make my list.
Fantastic player who has done it in England, Spain and Germany at a very high level, and played his part in helping Spain win a bunch of trophies at international level.
Suarez would make the list with all the extracurricular activities that he does on the pitch. Great striker with a controversial personality.
You know... forgot about his (suarez) copa... the guy is such a cant though
Schweinsteiger definitely...
I like the left field shout for keano but just wasn't a good enough player (always liked him though)
Yeah Alonso was underrated
Not sure about Schweini tbh... think Lahm is the German from Bayern who will be more iconic

Cheated* Uruguay to the world cup semi finals
Suarez is the best player in the world the last few years.
has to be there over the likes of bale and sanches.
Drogba is the best cup final/big match player ive ever seen. Its why he is so loved by the fans tbh despite often having poor patches in his PL seasons and some moody moments we dont talk about now
Scweini was the captain of Germany when they won the world cup. Iconic lock right there.
Drogba is definitely the best African player of all time.
PS while suarez is obviously a better player than drogba I feel drogba brought a leadership on and off the pitch suarez can never match... these things go into making a great...
I'm afraid 20 years from now drogba will be remembered as the guy that single handedly led an atrocious chelsea side to their only only CL, will suarez will remembered as the biter...
Weah will still always be considered the best african player.
IMO it's Etoo...
Lahm captained Germany actually
Yaya Toure > Drogba for me as an African player
Suarez will be remembered as one of Barcelona's great strikers and the best Uruguayan player of all time
Drogba will be remembered as the man who stopped a civil war in his homeland. Definitely iconic in my books

Wow you're right. Google image showed Schweini lifting the trophy over his head so I assumed it was him.
Preface this by saying Suarez is one of the best players ive seen in this country - but a single league cup win is a pooor return for such a player in his time here
Football is a team sport. Not Suarez's fault Liverpool is so shiet at the time.
Eto o kind of fecked the end of his career going to Russia while still young enough to do it in better leagues
I rate him above yaya and its not really close but each to his own
