United supporters have asked the same as well when it comes to Mourinho.
Tbf to Klopp has not spend £160m, like Pep did in this window. Also, Man City have players at their disposal and are expected to challenge.
I would guess because Klopp has Liverpool above City, is not regarded as the best coach in the world, has not spent extravagant amounts of money this Summer, and did not ostracise a solid keeper to bring in an awful one who does not save shots.
klopp said after the game that he took responsibility for the loss after the game and is hailed as a genius by the BBC etc but its totally ignored that after saying he took responsibility he said
''its not allowed, as i understand to blame now a single players and say they didnt do that or didnt do this..''
so he is blaming the players but cant so is responsible but it was the players, but he cant say that
Simple, one is a serial winner of trophies, the other isn't
Higher standards? Guardiola came in as reputation as probably the best coach in the world where as klopp has come in as a good coach? and he has them higher than city? City have been champions recently? Any more?
anyone seeing klopp walking as he did before he came to liverpool?
How did he walk back then?
Was it a Roadman sort of bowl?
A John Cleese funny one?
A Moonwalk?

Klopp is the better manager by a mile
Liverpool are getting stick and rightfully so but they are 4th in the league ffs. Look at the squad they have, even considering their shocking form they are punching well above their weight. They have the 6th best squad in the league and they are in 4th place, above the 2 pre season favourites and big money spenders
Probably because Klopp is a likeable individual.
Pep is an utter khunt in most of his press conferences.
ok bats,
if klopp is a mile better tham Pep...
Then why hasnt Klopp, the much better manager in your opinion, come under as much media scrutiny than Pep?

The media have been going after him though. All I've seen today from pundits when mentioning the game is things like does Klopp have a plan B, he disrespected the FA cup, wrong tactics etc.

I just said why. Because he is doing a good job and has Liverpool in 4th, higher than they should be in the league.
Pep has hugely underachieved having the pre season favourites in 5th place.
It's pretty simple
At the end of the day It boils down to the expectactions. Liverpool shouldn't where they are with that squad, simple as that. No one xpected Liverpool to challange for the title this season. Man City have by far the better squad, but have dissappointed massively so far.
Probably because Klopp is a likeable individual.
Pep is an utter khunt in most of his press conferences.

Klopp is likeable, Pep is a decent chap too IMO but he can come across as sullen and distant.
Basically Peps been his own worse enemy. What's all this stuff about him not being good enough for Man City? The press are not fools and they can see Peps on the defensive, the same will happen with Klopp if he starts to go on the defensive.
Until a week ago Klopp was having an excellent season.
Why would he come under scrutiny?
He's been scrutinised plenty in the last week and will continue to be if our season carries on going pear-shaped.
Also, nobody expected Liverpool to be title challengers, so the fact we were looking likely to be early season meant that Klopp at the time was exceeding all media expectations.
Pep was doing the same in the first 10 games and was getting praised all over. Then results started not meeting expectations and he started getting stick.
Don't be so precious.
Bats,
Why do you feel Liverpool shouldn't be as high as 4th in the league?
Why hasn't Klopp come under pressure from the media despite losing at home to Southampton in the LC semi, at home to Swansea, and most of all, at home to Wolves, who are languishing in the Championship.
You haven't answered the question at all.

City came under scrutiny for less.
Just to clarify, and perhaps my point does need spelling out for its lack of nuance...
...I'm not saying that Klopp should come under scrutiny.
I'm asking why Pep has.

Because they'd don't have a great squad and are above other squad far better than theirs
He has been heavily scrutinised for his team selections in the cup
Tbh you are coming across as quite paranoid

Probably because like others have said he's come with a bigger reputation to a team that should challenge for the title and spent £100 + million. Plus him replacing Hart obviously didn't go down well with English pundits.
