I am having similar problems with the battery, it simply wont charge, so when i unplug the charger from the mains the battery on its own lasts 10-15 minutes! To be honest i dont know how much replacing the battery will cost and if its just worth buying a new lappy
Oh and the number "6" key doesn't work on he top line, i have to use the numbers on the keypad

by the way, does anyone know what's happened to rrp's brother rbdb ? hasnt been around for a while.
I lost my S and D buttons on my old laptop, the batt lasted about 25 mins before dying! and it would take 10 mins to power up!!!
had to get a new one! its ace!

Its a joke, FULLY charged my battery lasts 10-15 minutes depending on how much im using the laptop
