Absolutely correct, they have to realise their squad is no better than say Hull City and the likes and last season was a one off, they are a bottom half club, and this was always gonna happen unless they threw millions on the first team, which they did in a way but not on top class stars. Sacking Ranieri is stupid imo and those fans calling for his head are even worse
I'm not calling for Ranieris head, but it's massively short sighted to say last season was all him. It wasn't. It was taking the foundations of what Walsh and Pearson built and tweaking it very well tactically to achieve the incredible
He didn't sign Kante, Ranieri didn't want Kante and if hadnt have been for Steve Walsh, now at Everton, there would be no title. It was a combination of factors and Ranieri was certainly important to it
But when the going has got tough he's shown himself so far not to be capable of turning things around. We know Mahrez, Vardy, Drinkwater, Schmeichel etc have quality. That team isn't all of the level of Danny Simpson so to just its a squad no better than Hulls is ridiculous
It's not a top 10 side I grant you but it's a lot better than bottom 3 if the players are on it
Chelsea fans have very short memories, must be what money does to you. You lot were going ape when you were hurtling towards the bottom 3 under Mourinho. Didn't matter what he had achieved for you....You are the ultimate sack the manager club so to be posting this seems hilarious to me

This...glass houses and stones come to mind with this post.
Hilarious we've got people telling us we have a squad no better than Hulls now a bet you wouldn't be saying that if we were mid table where this group of players should be. The mismanagement of the club from top to bottom has been shocking this season hence where we are.
Chelsea fans have very short memories, must be what money does to you. You lot were going ape when you were hurtling towards the bottom 3 under Mourinho. Didn't matter what he had achieved for you....You are the ultimate sack the manager club so to be posting this seems hilarious to me

a) Lester City are not Chelsea, our level and expectations are four or five levels above yours.
b) I never wanted to sack Mourinho anyway. Never.
Perhaps you have only just realised that the club has been teetering on a precipice overnight whilst many of have been scrutinising events for some considerable time now. Even for the likes of a 'distant' fan such as myself, the obvious need to reinforce our claim to a place in the highest division required fresh blood, new players-call it what you like. New centre-back(s) were paramount-nothing came of it. The switching of formations (such as the diamond) which put such pressure on our full-backs, a dismal, almost non-existent transfer window. I could go on. Nothing whatsoever materialised.
As I stated yesterday, there is no room in football for sentiment. Last season is past history and we have basked in that glory. Even some commentators are now labelling us 'struggling Leicester' and have moved away from that now infamous 'reigning champions' tag such is the acknowledgement that we are fighting for our lives to stay in the top flight. If we jettison our current playing staff then who the hell is going to replace them?
The last thing I want to see is our current manager being removed, but if we are to pay the price of relegation, and an on-going battle to return to former glory looking a forgone conclusion, given the quality of some of the opposition in the Championship, then so be it. Even if CR stood aside for the remainder of the campaign, the introduction of a 'strong head and shoulders' would surely aid our recovery.
You cannot sack Ranieri. If you get relegated, then so be it. You cannot sack Ranieri after what he did. He has earned invincibility for at least one season. At least.
Again, why should put up with going down over hurting the managers feelings just because we're only Leicester?
The thing which you guys don't seem to get is that you are at the same level now as you were when Ranieri took over. That is a fact. You just escaped relegation after being in the bottom 3 for most of the season in 14/15.
It is not about 'hurting feelings', it's about respect and honour. You cannot sack Ranieri the season after he wins the PL for Lester City, a team that was in the Championship for a decade and was only in the PL for one year before Ranieri took over and even nearly got relegated in that one year.
What you don't seem to get is that the club had an opportunity to establish us as Premier League club and have failed. This is what is getting to most fans I've spoken to. A missed opportunity.
That's fine. You still do not fire Ranieri. That is not an option. If you think he has created this mess, which I don't think he has but if you think that this is the case, then he has more than earned the right to another season to fix it.

Shut up Wahl you mug. Football is a business, just because you want to snog Jose's chocolate starfish doesn't mean Leicester should stick with a failing manager. Last season is gone, relegation would sour it, Ranieri looks utterly clueless. Leicester are hurtling towards the abyss and with some of the contracts they've been dishing out, financial disaster too; you must be pragmatic if you want to succeed in life, not sentimental - when you grow up you will realise that, dude
--------------------------
Beat it, I don't care about your opinion.
This guy is Wahl? Explains alot.
What, my opinion is no longer valid? Come on, you know what I am saying makes sense.
Look at how many times you've been banned from here for being a complete an utter fool. So no your opinion is not valid.
Wow honour dude, you know what I'm saying makes sense but you're going to use this as a way of avoiding the argument. That's cheap.
Word is he has gone a bit mental. Doing things like changing the tactics before kick off from what they have been training all week and stuff like that. If it's true then he'll lose the dressing room and then he'll go.

No it's not a fact. It's garbage
Stop just looking at league positions. In 14/15 are performances were fantastic. We were described by Wenger as the best team to visit the Emirates BUT we were making mistakes defensively. We were fighting, we had confidence and team spirit. Our bottom of the table was a false position as it turned out to be at the end of the season
This time it's totally different. There's no fight, no confidence and no team spirit. We are shipping goals for fun. This isn't anything close to 14/15
Sick of other fans thinking they are experts on Leicester and know better than us after watching us a few times on MOTD

Look if you were bottom of the league you were bottom of the league. You can't just say we were playing really well but were making defensive mistakes. The defensive mistakes are part of the way you were playing and so you were not playing really well.
Two years ago exactly, you were bottom of the league I believe. That is a fact. Back then your expectations were non existent. It was stay up if we can, if we can't then oh well, back to the championship we go. it is unreasonable for you after one freak season to have increased your expectations to the point where you can be in a better position than you were two years ago and be this angry and dissapointed. It is completely unreasonable.
