He'll be Forest manager next season
Soooooooooooo
You think he did a good job or what?
first name on the team sheet if he dusted off his boots
Out of interest, what would plummet faster, an elephant tied to an anvil or say a gerbil tied to an anvil? Feels like an elephant tied to an anvil wouldn't make much difference as the elephant would in fact be heavier than said anvil whereas in the gerbils case the anvil would be heavier, but would both in actual fact reach terminal velocity?
Oh as for Zola, without doubt the most ridiculous decision a board has ever made and I think everybody outside of blues fans is delighted at the outcome, justice served.
WTF Cinci?
Is that like one of those, whats heavier? A ton of lead or a ton of feathers?
TBF to Zola, hes walked in to a situation its hard to work with. The players clearly aren't with him and the pressure that was bound to come after the senseless sacking of Rowett ramps up every week.
However this is Wolves and the chance are Blues will win this, remember the last time Wolves were odds on to beat blues? Just been smashed 8-0 by Bournemouth, came to Molineux, went away with all 3. Rowett's first game in charge.
Found another flaw actually, the shard would not have a straight drop would it? So if you were to throw an elephant tied to an anvil out of it then surely it would end up buying the building and sliding downward unless you got some distance on the initial throw?
So sounds like the gerbil would be the better option again, you could throw the anvil and the gerbil would just follow whereas I doubt you could really throw an elephant.
*hitting not buying......The elephant is poor
Goldi my fellow KoP quarterfinalist
Yes, I've done alright in the knock out weeks, lets hope my cup run doesnt go the same way as Wolves.
Cinci, did you consider tying the hamster to the elephant, then trying to persuade them both to jump as far as possible horizontally?
Then they may both have avoided "buying" the shard.
Yeah but what about the elephant?

Don't be silly, everyone knows elephant's are afraid of rodents, it would never work.
You wouldn't have to throw the elephant off if you could get it to push the anvil off, then it would fall off too.
Wouldn' avoid the problem of the elephant just breaking through a window the moment it hit the side.
Reckon the hamster would hit the window and then slide down the rest of the way. Lucky thing might even survive. Don't see much of a prolonged life expectancy for the elephant, though.
Either way you would still rather be an elephant as gerbils only live about a year whereas a good elephant can last 60+ years.
Regarding pushing the anvil off and the elephant would follow? I am not so sure, elephant's are pretty strong and I could see a scenario where the elephant can still be inside the building whilst the anvil dangles outside, especially if say the anvil is tied to his back leg and the elephant is facing a bowl of fruit inside.
Got a feeling the life expectancy of an elephant and a hamster might be about the same when faced with an imminent fall from a very high building.
On the other hand the half-life of iron is thousands of years, so my money's on the anvil.

I have a fairly cartoony image of an elephant slowly being pulled over the edge, scrabbling with his front legs and then hanging on for a few seconds.
He has the full backing of your board though...
Fair point wulfrun, the anvil is the real winner here.
Worth noting actually that given blue lives in Asia then presumably when he refered to an elephant he was infact thinking of an Asian elephant, slightly smaller and lighter than the African elephant and doesn't live as long and probably a little easier to throw.
Just done some research which really throws the cat among the pigeons.
The average lift can hold 1000-6000 lbs........The average Asian elephant weighs 12000 lbs
The elephant isn't getting to the top.
There's almost an incentive for Wolves to lose on Friday just to keep Zola in the job and continue taking Blues backwards.
Gianfranco is popular in some quarters though. I gather he was mobbed at New Street Station on Saturday night by hero worshipping Chelsea fans on their way home
dont chuck the elephant, he's a better manager than zola
