I don't understand why they even sell food. Drinks yes, but hot smelly fackin food shouldn't be there.

Why do they sell the pick & mix, and popocorn in fackin paper bags too, the nosiest possible way of containing the food. Even a cardboard bucket style (like in America) would be slightly less noisy.

Fat feckers should be able to go 2 hours without eating anyway

You need a snack whilst watching a movie.

Not for the prices they charge though.

You can't beat the cinema for some things but if you have a decent smart 4K Tv and surround system you can't beat home comforts.

Haven't been able to watch a film at home since having a baby!!!

4k is still a waste of time too, unless you get a 10bit+ TV you aren't truly getting 4k. Manufacturers now call everything 4k when in reality the majority are not.

Then we have the amount of content available on 4k, which is minimal. The Netflix 4k isn't great, as you'd expect streaming.

Don't care my telly is awesome

10bit is more about HDR and colour reproduction than resolution. It is compression that is killing any 4K you watch.

Also, for most UK living rooms, 4K is as good as pointless... To see any difference, you either have to go with a ridiculous 85" screen or sit a few foot from the screen.

Dunno about that Ji

I have a 4K TV and its only 40 inch (white guy problems)

Watching 4K planet earth 2 on 4K is definitely better than watching the full HD one. Noticeably different

Even watching 4K football clips on YouTube is hugely better than normal full HD stuff

There have been loads of studies done on it, here is a chart:

http://bskyb.i.lithium.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/19906iE2DE6EACB9A923BE?v=1.0

What you are probably seeing is the difference between compressed to hell 4K and compressed to hell 1080p.

On your 40" tv, after 5 ft, all things being equal (same compression, ratio wise), your eye simply cannot resolve any more detail.... even if you have 20/20 vision

Perhaps but i see a fairly big difference between Blu Rays (which I doubt are compressed) and 4K on i player (on their beta showing of Planet Earth2)

Blu Ray is compressed, but far less so.

I guess you are a scientific anomaly, as we have always suspected! You have Rolf Harris blood, so have developed better eyes to hunt children with.

My guess is that you are just expecting better, so see it as being better... Or the 4K has some serious over sharpening.

My Rolfisms have made me evolve into a seriously good predator

For me amazon is the far better option out of the two.

content wise it more than matches Netflix.

You then add prime delivery and prime music to it and it's not even close.

I literally don't understand why people would chose Netflix over prime

Prime delivery is so good.
