I wouldn't be surprised to see him go to Chelsea!

It's been known before Wenger doesn't like strong characters like Sanchez any more. Since the invincibles he's routinely signed yes men without strong personalities. He hates anyone questioning him. So I'm not surprised he could clash with Sanchez

He is untouchable. He's our best player by a distance. Did Wenger ever drop Henry when his form dropped?

So we are a one man team, right? Arsenal Football Club will live beyond Sanchez era.

Argument with a teammate? Wonder who actually had the balls to stand up for themselves!

There's a big difference between being a one man team and a player being bigger than a club.

Short term, you absolutely play him, because the fact is you stand a far better chance of winning with him.

Long term you sell him and replace him.

So yeah, you absolutely are a one man team right now. Like we were with Gerrard for a good amount of time. But you'll also survive after he's gone, like we have.

You can talk that when the Sanchez era ends. For now he plays. There is no excuse not to play him in any match for the rest of the season under any circumstances unless he isn't fit or does a Payet

34 - Alexis Sánchez has been involved in 34 goals for Arsenal in 2016-17; double the tally of any other player for the club. Difference.

he's not just the best player at arsenal, but, this season at least, he is the best player in the league.

play him up front, play him on the right, or the left, but madness to leave him out.

So someone who doesn't want Wenger to go leaks info about why he dropped Alexis. So much for team unity. Wenger needs to get ahead of this now or quit.

David Ornstein is reporting the same story now, it's defo been leaked by someone at Arsenal.

Wenger is utterly fecked now. Obviously someone didn't want Wenger to get the flack he was getting from the fanbase for utterly ridiculous tactics. However now it looks like a manager who can't control his players. There are so many training ground incidents. But the manager is in charge and he controls his players. Prviacy of the dressing room is sacrosanct. A leak like this shows the dressing room is in shambles. I said at the beginning of the season that Wenger fecking Walcott from the striking position was easy last season. But he won't be able to do it to Alexis. That sudden change of tactics a few months ago is all coming to bite Wenger now.

Tbf to Wenger it is absolutely the right thing to do. As a manager you cannot stand by and let someone undermine your authority.

On that note I think it's very unprofessional behaviour from Sanchez - however it's borne out of frustration with the incompetence of his teammates and/or the team's ineffective style of play. These are genuine issues that won't go away regardless of whether Sanchez is offloaded or not.

Its poor management whichever way you cut it. Wenger told Alexis he would be striker at the beginning of the season. Imagine if he told Henry would be Arsenal's striker and then decided in the middle of the season to play him on the wing. By the way Juventus did exactly that to Henry when they bought him and he left after a season on the wing. Do you see how Giroud disappeared after the Watford game? You can't do that with personalities as strong as Alexis and Ozil. They have their opinions on why Arsenal aren't performing and the more pressure you put on them the more their opinions become entrenched. Some very thick player who likes Wenger has done this. Its obvious. But its backfired badly because it shows a manager not in control. These days players are bigger than managers. Its just how it is. Thats why you keep it completely quiet.

Where are we going to finish if Alexis tunes out now because he has already made up his mind to leave?

Manger is pathetic anyways..his decisions are at times at rettard level....Arsenal as a club needs personalities like Sanchez to get rid of this rotten dictatorship.

If it's true then it's right to drop him, even though he's our best player there has to be same rules for everyone. But we should have left him out the squad completely, now Wenger just looks weak.

Sanchez time at Arsenal is done now. It is and we have to accept it.

We should be grateful we got to see him play for us but it's over and this story confirms it

His relationship with the team and manager is broken. With that and the fact he is frustrated with our performances, mentality and ambition, it truly does confirm that his time at Arsenal is over

When Alexis inevitably asks to leave (he 100% will now), Wenger should say to him you are either being sold abroad or you are staying

posted on 6/3/17

Shambles. Either way, he should have been left out the team if this was the case not on the bench for Wenger to panic and then let him on.

Utterly week from Wenger either way and represents this teams mentality.
