To be fair that's clearly a tactical decision I doubt he'd choose to do that.

Well it was what Carra and Redknapp said, he was awful first half doing the CBs job and not sitting infront of them.

Emre Can even looked shocked getting the MOTM award too.

Pretty much the same although we slowed the game down more and held on to the win. Earlier in the season we threw a few wins away from that position by still attacking. We weren't anywhere near our best but we deserved the win. Some will say we didn't because we weren't far better than a weaker team but the fact that we were better despite not being at our best means we deserved the win.

I do agree with TOOR on that one.

Can wasn't out of position, he was going where the manager wanted him to go.

There was no stand out individual performers but Can did the job he was supposed to so for me deserved it. Keane and Mee were quite good but the MoTM award nearly always goes to the winning team.

It's bloody obvious. He's not going to be out of position every time Burnley launch the ball in the air. If he was he'd have been hauled off for ignoring the manager's instructions.

Yep, Klopp obviously wanted to limit the number of times our centre halves were isolated with Gray.

By having Can battle to win the header, even if we lost the header we had two behind on the cover instead of one v one

Matip was the stand out performer.

Exactly. It only looked dodgy once of twice when Klavan went too far forward.

He came on when we were leading when we closed up and took less risks with defensive players less isolated. Of course it looked better.

I don't know why you can't just accept he had a good game and tactically did the job he was asked to do.

Matip was clearly our MOTM composed and won pretty much everything. Their goal was more of a mf issue and maybe Klavan could be few yards deeper, what a ball though from Lowton.

And also because Burnley play 4-4-2 we were still even in midfield with Lallana and Wij in there against their two.

Neville has the hump about it because he thought we should be bossing that central area for 3 v 2, but Klopp deliberately played a direct game to largely by pass midfield and match their style.

It didn't work perfectly by any means (and it couldn't really as we are not used to it), but we won so it worked enough.

The goalscorer was on Matip's side so why does Klavan get the blame for that one?
