I don't know why you can't just accept he had a good game and tactically did the job he was asked to do.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't think he was MOTM, he was poor on the ball a lot of the time but did well for us in the air.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The goalscorer was on Matip's side so why does Klavan get the blame for that one?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because if hes in position he cuts out the pass?

Neville thought he had a better understanding of the tactics than Klopp and was fuming towards the end of the second half when he realised Can dropping in to win the first ball was tactical.

If Matip was it position he stops the attacker getting the shot?

It would be interesting to see it again but if Matip was in line with Klavan and Milner, would the attacker have been offside?

Matips covering Klavans man its actually Clyne wrong side of the goalscorer. But again this goals stopped in midfield theres no way Matip can be blamed for that it was a peach of a ball 2 burnley players could've scored from and he has to mark both?

no i think matip was level with Milner.

The only way the goal is stopped is if the passer is pressed closer, Clyne is on the right side on the cover or Klavan is in position a few yards deeper and closer to milner to cut it out.

It was a great ball to be fair. Sometimes there's nobody at fault for a goal. However I felt we should have been closing down quicker the moment we lost the ball.

Was a peach of a ball i think theyre all holding a decent line maybe Klavan could be few yards deeper and closer to milner. He almost got a toe to it from where he was.

To be fair he was on the side of Matip and Clyne but Klavan got closest to it by making an attempt. The others didn't. Also it does look like Matip played him onside and if he'd been in line with Klavan Barnes would have been off.

Klopp commented after game that Can should have done more for the goal and you see it in that replay.

A poor attempt to stop the pass, probably thought nothing really on for a Burnley right back here but you can't underestimate your opponent.

Get your foot in and block the cross.

My personal favourite

"If we finish outside the top 6 without Europe then Klopp has to go. It's looking likely."

Ha ha ha.

That's why I never go on match threads anymore apart from before kick off and after the final whistle.

People just go mental.
