if you didnt quit as soon as you saw the lag was too much then the game counts as a normal tournament game.

Friendlies are not allowed between two players competing against each other in the tournament in case this sort of thing happens.

May have to come up with a rule for next tournament whereby if the lag is too much then you have to quit in the first 20 game minutes

Every other game before, we quit within 10mins or so.
This one we played til 80mins. No mention of a friendly either.

Anyway, 4-3 to me with 10mins (will allow 2mins added time) so 12mins left.

I'd actually side with TL too on this one, lag or no lag, you can't complain if you played for 80 mins, 15 mins max.

also surely if it was 4-2 after 80 minutes but greg wants to include a goal from a 10 minute game you also played to make it 4-3, that totals 90 minutes. you should only play 2 minutes stoppage time.

And any game which is quit and time added on should've have X time plus 3 mins for injury, you never get two mins on the actual game or rarely irl

will add a rule in next tournament but common sense does say quit as soon as lag is too muc

That's what I was thinking. But then again in the 2 games before that I was winning 1-0 in both as well. But I think the only compromise is actually getting it 4-3 for Greg to be happy.

Exactly. I wouldn't have played a friendly either. The lag wasn't even that bad, it was certainly playable.

Friendlies are not allowed between two players who are facing each other in the tournament. This is to stop people who lose saying it was to create arguments

I was beating Greg 4-0 in a league game with 70 minutes gone before he decided to quit the game only to say the kits were too similar (they really weren't)
