Red wobbles by goes in for Selby
10-7, massive last three frames there from Selby
got to admire selby's grit
Best in the world when his back is against the wall
Commentators saying that Higgins would have quite gladly taken a 10-7 lead at start of the day, but for me, it doesn't work like that. At 6-2 up, and then 10-4 up, Higgins will feel a bit disappointed. And as good and as gritty a player Selby is, Higgins should have taken one of those last 3 frames
If this was Higgins of 10 years ago, I would fancy him strongly to finish off the job. But he's not that player any more, and i don't think experience really helps him come the closing stages. There'll be more nerves than ever, he'll be more edgy that what he was in his prime, and he won't quite have the confidence of what Selby does.
I think once you go past your peak, inconsistency just affects your game so much, and that's what gives you the doubts. It will be Higgins best performance ever if he wins tomorrow. I think Selby will be delighted tonight.
It's like 2014 again, Selby tired and poor on day one after a 17-15 win over Robertson, Ronnie played brilliant & only lead 10-7.....we know what happened to Ronnie.
Very important afternoon session today. If Higgins can come out of it maintaining his three frame lead then he has a good chance of winning the title - he would only be four from victory then.
Selby will fight, no doubt about that. I think if he reduces the score to one by winning the afternoon 5-3 (to make it 12-13) then Selby becomes strong favourite. This final is far from over.
It's got an inevitably about this.... Hope not...
I'm going to the semi final next year
Higgins needs one good day to become world champion for a 5th day. I don't mean a gritty battling day like yesterday, but needs to reel off some frames in one visit. We've seen a lot of the hard match play John Higgins, but not much of the one frame clearance John Higgins.
Selby also needs to improve on most of yesterday's performance, but there were signs in the last 3 frames that he was getting back. You feel he's had his bad sessions and will only get stronger
RKW - not fancy final tickets?

RKW - not fancy final tickets?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sold out already! 9:06 sold out! Got some for the second round too on Friday night. Still refreshing to see if final tickets become available.
The page is just white on all the dates I'm clicking on so far, guessing that means it's sold out
There's plenty left go on worldsnooker.seetickets it's online the other one is over the phone
That site blocked on these pcs at work arggggh.
There's still a few tickets floating about but mainly for the first round. Can't believe how quickly they sell out.
I'll have a look when I get home and pray there's something. Which semi final session are you going to RKW?
Saturday morning session. So it'll be the third of four sessions in whichever semi final it is. Going to the second round on the Friday evening before, can't remember if it's table one or two though.
That really is crazy how quickly they sell out. Tournament needs moved to a bigger venue
I don't think they release them all at once. I'm on there now and have some more tickets I can get for the first round on Sunday 22 April 7pm session. Not sure I want them though!
I wonder what percentage of its yearly income does the Crucible rake in during the snooker weeks? Must be a fair amount.
Got 10 mins to decide if I want to buy or release these tickets?

Cheapest tickets I've seen are on for £22.50 I think, and that's the opening day. Most expensive for the final are on at £95 roughly.
I see that the Crucible website crashed for a couple of hours this morning.
Will have to try and get 2019 final tickets next year
