I watched one on the Horror Channel the other night, think it was called "The Cottage" starring Jennifer Ellison, it was $hyte but at the same time funny, just to hear her regularly using terminology like "f***ing hurry up you thick cuuunt" and " what are you f***ing staring at you ugly f***ing twaaaat" made it sort of worthwhile

Love that movie. I have it on DVD

Mrs Biglaa walked out of the room in disgust when I watched Kung Fury. Usually a sign of a good movie

I hope you didn't forget Dog Soldiers?

I assume you are now going to divorce her?

She's German, so sense of humour is not expected.

Has anyone seen an Aussie film called Body Melt? It's got Harold Bishop from Neighbours as a mad scientist giving body builders steroids that makes their erections explode.

Brilliant

The turtles movie from the 80's is amazing as well.

Not sure if anyone mentioned American Ninja.
Death Bed
Ninja Terminator
Piranha
Gremlins
Enter the Ninja

Some of the films mentioned in this thread are actually pretty good, such as They Live, Basket Case and Starship Troopers.

The Room is the ultimate good "5h1t" movie. Batman and Robin is also up there.

This has a very funny scene for me where they stick a skeleton prop on a horse (it's supposed to be an undead skeleton), and it's wobbling all over the place almost falling off.

I always look for stuff like that in bad films.

He's good fun. He was in Congo too and that is the very definition of 'so bad it's good'.

AOD isn't even bad per se. It just has some very obvious low budget moments that make it more unintentionally funny than it's supposed to be.

Is batman and Robin the one with Jim Carey and Tommy Lee Jones?

I watched that a while ago too. Bloody awful.

I think thats the case for a lot of these movies being mentioned. Low budget, often poorly acted or at least over the top acting, a bit cheesy, often knowingly so.

So something like Big Trouble in Little China is probably the perfect example. The acting is deliberately comedic at times, as is the action, the dialogue, even the music. The story is straight up ridiculous, yet it all comes together to make one simply great movie.

No, it's the one with Arnie as Mr Freeze. Really bad but so damn funny at the same time.

I actually don't think I've watched that one.

Batman Forever is with Jim Carrey as the The Riddler. You can include that as well
