AOD isn't even bad per se. It just has some very obvious low budget moments that make it more unintentionally funny than it's supposed to be.
---------------------
I think thats the case for a lot of these movies being mentioned. Low budget, often poorly acted or at least over the top acting, a bit cheesy, often knowingly so.
So something like Big Trouble in Little China is probably the perfect example. The acting is deliberately comedic at times, as is the action, the dialogue, even the music. The story is straight up ridiculous, yet it all comes together to make one simply great movie.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's different when films aren't taking themselves seriously. The films that are and get is spectacularly wrong tend to be funnier, like Superman IV.
I recall reading some comments from Christopher Reeve about Superman IV (maybe on the wiki page) where he mentioned that he was certain during filming that the movie would bomb.
he cited the fact that they used Milton Keynes as a double for Manhattan and the United Nations

The whole idea of using Milton Keynes as a replacement for New York in itself is hilarious.

Gimme a chance. You lot listed about 50 movies!
I see this as more a communal list for everyone to refer to when needing something to watch, rather than my own personal library. If I watch all these movies the wife will leave me.
