it all comes down to whether or not poch wants to sell.

if he does want to sell, maybe 60 mill. if he doesn't, then double the asking price.

they will soon fack off and buy drinkwater or equivalent

If Dier goes to Utd I will eat my head.

United are united and they're a massive club, with the biggest fan base in the country. They also have the knack of winning trophies without being that good of a team, spurs are as good as i've known them and they still don't look like winning anything.

I wouldn't blame them for going especially considering wages too. I just doubt they'll want to leave or be allowed to leave just yet anyhow.

United have also looked as far away from winning the title in these last few years than at any point in PL history. You also didn't mention that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
and? what have we won?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you've turned into Arsenal then?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
wtf? think you're misinterpreting

Well if you win a bit of less important silverware and you're still miles off the league title, you may as well be Arsenal.

yeah but would you not just take a trophy right now? As well as we've done to be near the top we still haven't really come close to winning it either

The problem we will have if we do sale ,is that it will send out the wrong message to the players , Dier is crucial to us , in terms of covering Wanyama if suspended and being part of our back 3.

Id tell Jose to go fack his Dog , and get teabagged by Fergie.

I'd take trophies but then we in comparison have been closer to winning a title than we've ever been since the PL started, so are we really still as good as you've known us to be?

More red top rubbish, pure and simple...
The good news is, once upon a time I may have thought well that's it then, if UTD want him, Utd will get him but now, they are neither special or command respect and just don't have the same kudos or authority as they once did. No insult intended.

You spent over 89mil on a dab so i dont see the issue here

As if Levy would even consider selling a key player to a rival, and especially those mugs, those days are long gone. Only if a player demands to leave and basically goes on strike would it be considered, and even then the buying club would be paying double the players worth plus Levy tax.

Dier is worth at least 50m when compared to $ity paying that for the English Vega and Unit£d 90m for the French Zokora.

another NON-STORY. Think bout what this lazy sheet for brains "journo" has written.
"Man Utd are preparing a bid of £40mill"
So they've decided they want to buy and at what price.
Net step would be to simply fax the other club the bid once the transfer window opens(not for several months). In August when the window opens if I read a headine "ManU have made a bid for ..." then I will sit up and take notice.Just how long does this journo rhink it takes to type a few words and send a facking fax ? Maybe they need 4 months to decide which font the fax should be in Move along, nothing to see here

Dier isn't a key player at all, I'd bite their hands off for £40m if it meant we signed a better CB

I would say a versatile player that can play in a variety of positions like Dier, is a key squad member.

I'd say he's a key player for poch. Imo he's the biggest reason why we changed our formation so poch could fit him in the team

completely agree

He's more valuable than we give him credit for. A defender comfortable on the ball and stepping into midfield? We're lucky to have him. Wouldn't take £40 million personally. I don't trust us to spend it wisely anyway after the Sissoko deal. We'd probably end up with Robert Snodgrass without any change!

hes a RCB in a 3 CB formation or a CDM in a 4231

should never play CB in a 4 at the back. but poch loves him even at 40mill i can see the offer being turned down

I see Old Bake-on Face is quoted the Manchester Evening News as saying Maureen will have a problem prying a Spurs player away because of Levy being a 'very tough negotiator'. Eager to avoid stating the bleeding obvious he neglects to say players do not jump quite as high these days when Utd come calling. He also says Carrick went on to have a very successful career suggesting that he perhaps wouldn't have had at Spurs. Arrogant old muffburger. Funny rules they have on 606. I can't call SAF 'Bacon' but quite happy for me to call him a muffburger?!?

If Dier is 'key', then so are 10 other players in our squad. Sort of devalues the word

Like I say he's a key person to poch maybe squad wise to us he's replaceable

posted on 29/3/17

At present he is a key player

He is indisputably the first choice RCB in the three at the back Poch now prefers, as well as being our fall-back if Wanyama is injured.

First choice in one position, our only cover in another.
