I still think RVP takes some doing. I think there's more resignation for the fans than with RVP.
They'll sell to the highest bidder. It's Arsenal. They don't care.
What if he refuses to go to the highest bidder ?
There's no way wenger that stupid to sell him to Chav$ki no chance

Then he sees out his contract and becomes a free agent.
I think it could happen WNM, you sold Van Pursestrings to Utd.

I can't see wenger being that stupid again.
The RVP one was class, all season on here most Arsenal fans refused to believe that he'd move to United. They all thought he would be going to Juve, and then he ends up joining us in the end.
I remember the day the RVP deal was agreed, completely out of the blue at the time, think it was early evening. Admins had to clear their schedules that evening.

And you got one season out of him,at a cost of about £50 mil.

Or Arsenal could sell him to Chelsea in the summer and potentially save £40m pluss his wages
He will go abroad they cant allow that to happen again. They should say to him if they havent already that hes free to go abroad but they wont sell him to anyone else in the league. He may well be free to go in a years time but a year is a long time in football. If you take Chelsea for example they will need a replacement for Hazard this summer forcing them to look elsewhere.
Personally I dont take too much notice of this supposedly said statement from him after all only a few months ago he said he didnt like living in London its all sabre rattling each side is trying to position itself to get the upper hand.
Come to think of it, the best was transfer deadline day in 2015 when they ended up with Welbeck.
The meltdown/u-turn was amazing.

Easy for to say that. It's the shareholders pockets being effected here and we know who controls the board. They have to take decision that's in best of s/h not the fans best interest

Given all the negative feelings around the club at the moment the shareholders will be accutely aware of this and wont want to add to it. Selling your most prized asset to a competitor is not good business. They had to do it last time because of financial constraints they no longer exist. Spain or Italy with Inter Milan's new found wealth is the most obvious location.
The dream is that he just buys himself out of his contract in January with Arsenal top of the league and signs for Chelsea.
